Pretty big space, plenty of room for parking several cars or even trailer. Not far from water/toilets and far-enough from main road so it is silent at night. Toilets clean and free from smell. Very good experience.

The campsite was clean, and eye catching. The campsites weren’t to close together. There was a lot of trees and shade. The walk to the meadow wasn’t terribly far. The walk around the meadow was beautiful! We will definitely be returning, we had the best time!

Second year camping at Princess Camoground. Camped two nights in late June 2023. Setting amid tall pines and nearby meadow is restful. Facilities (bathroom with vault toilets) are basic but clean. Campground spacing is adequate. You have neighbors but their presence is not intrusive unless they run generators late into the night and keep their campsite lit up like a Christmas tree which was our experience. Select your campsite carefully as some do not have adequate flat spaces for larger tents and some have fire pit located extremely close to picnic table. No lake or stream to walk to or play in. Closest lake experience is Hume Lake about fifteen minutes drive time away. Indian basin loop trail is great for kids and accessed at the campground entry. Grant Grove is a good stop on your way in or out of Kings Canyon National Park.

Nice relaxing time. Quiet in the evenings. Camp host was the best.
