Staff were all so friendly! Bathrooms by the general store were so clean and big free, and the lake was a nice easy walk!

5 out of 5 stars. I went during early September and it was completely quiet, I love how far/close we were to the lake I think it was a perfect distance. The restroom are somewhat far but if you take a shortcut by turning left on site 27 then theyre closer. Also theres a water spout in site 24 which I didn't see until day 2. The site itself was somewhat near to the other sites. Most of the site is inclined, but wasnt too bad. I was able to fit a 8 person tent. Restrooms were always stocked up with toilet paper and somewhat clean. I loved the trips even saw some deers.

We only stayed for one night as we were just passing through and arrived just before dark so I can't really give a proper assessment. For what we did notice, the sites are nice and the walk around the lake was peaceful. The only things that I think needs to be mentioned is there are no showers and the drive to the campground is anxiety inducing if anyone in the car has fear of heights/falling. Lots of hairpin turns up and down the mountains next to a practically straight drop off that has little to no guard rails. Other than that, we had no issues.

Facilities were very clean, as well as the actual campsite. We were a lot closer to the other sites than i had originally anticipated, but we didn't feel uncomfortably close as everyone was extremely friendly. The lake itself was murky (probably because its a smaller lake so larger boats aren't allowed, letting the water be more stagnant) and had a lot of mosquitos- the bugs were a huge hindrance at night so be prepared. Other than the bugs being bugs, it was a beautiful experience!
