Pros: Beautiful campground. Our site (37) has plenty of shade cast by huge pines. Walking distance from the lake (10 min approx); we had a great time swimming there. The mornings were very peaceful. Cons: The christian camp is very noisy (hundreds of people yelling in the distance). Also sites are quite close to each other, and since we were next to a huge group (more than 10 people, many children), it was not quiet for us. Nobody enforced the camp rules (for instance, that generators shouldn't be used after 10pm).

"Room" is on the "Need to Know (i)" for this site (37)... I think this means that there is not much flat room NEAR THE PARKING SPACE for tents. Site 37 has much more flat room for tents if you walk down from the parking (barely enough room for 2 cars) into the flat area under the trees! The adjacent site 38 on the left is very close- and would be a terrific site for 2 reservations. Site 35 is adjacent on the right, but it is a much steeper walk down from parking to the flat area, so most campers probably would not pitch tents down there. Site 37 is also adjacent to an easy "fisherman" path down to the Hume Lake day use road. This path crosses back and forth over a barely-flowing-stream, with wonderful greenery near these sites, and makes access to the lake easier thangetting to the lake-day-use-road from the campground roads.

Got spot 37. 37-41 is well shaded. Highly recommend. Went about 5- 10 min walk to the lake wifi is accessible at the town itself $15 per day there is a flat fee for weekends. Lake rentals and life jackets available. Non motorized boats only. Mini Store is available about a mile down the lake, coffee shop, smoothies, pizza and snack bar as well as a gift shop and gas station. Restrooms do not have lights make sure to take one at night

The campground is beautiful and the host was very nice, however the bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. They are old and in poor condition ( half broken, no lights, no soap).
