I showed up and used the provided wi-fi to pay for the one open campsite that night. Had to pay an $8 "reservation fee" even though obviously I was there without a reservation. Making payment for a site dependent on devices and internet out in the woods seems like a system that's both designed to fail, costs campers more, and is against the whole spirit of the place.River is real pretty right here though, but there were signs about toxic algae in the pools around the rocks and dogs who had died from it.Campsites are also real real close together.

Tent sites were beautifully raked and maintained. We left after 30 minutes because there were rats truly SURROUNDING our campsite and we couldnt go five seconds without hearing them rustling around loudly. If youre fine with that, no problems to report. Im just a light and anxious sleeper and had never witnessed that many rats in one place.

Kids had a blast. Easy river access. Very clean sites and restrooms. We will come back! Road noise was a bit loud in the morning, but the campground itself was very peaceful.

We had campsite for 3 nights but only ended up staying one night only because it was so hot and my husband is disabled and had a hard time with the heatBut we enjoyed the campground site was clean, bathrooms were cleaned and smelled good considering they are vaulted toilets. We will be back for sure!

A beautiful campground located above the Umpqua River. The campsites are very spacious, private and immaculately kept. The free campfire wood was a real bonus.

We were in site #15. Its infested with rats. Tons of rats in the trees and all through camp. You can hear them scurrying all night. Tent pad is close to the road (noisey). Tyee is beautiful and the river access is great. The northern loop is small and low traffic. Lot the campground. Not this site.

This a great campground. It is well located, has fantastic river access, a personable host and is well maintained and clean. Its a quiet campground with only one caveat..lots of road noise, primarily trucks.

Spacious campsite. Pit toilets were surprisingly clean and not smelly in the morning. Good access to the river with views from the site.

Although we generally like to stay in campgrounds with hookups and more ammenities, we were pleasantly surprised by Tyee Recreation campground. The sites are layed out very well for optimum privacy and i cannot say enough about how clean and well maintained the campsites and potties were. You can tell the hosts family really cares about the space they live and work in. Bravo! to them!Unfortunately the access to the river was a challenge. We were on the up-river side access and it appears that the bottom portion of the cement stairs had been shifted significantly by flood waters. This was not a problem for the rest of our group, but I have some mobility issues, so it was difficult. We did see several groups come down and once they saw the condition of the access they chose not to come down to the water. There was another access to the river on the opposite side of the campground and that access was quite steep. Both ways were difficult for me, but not impossible and once I made it down to the river, it was magic! Overall our experience was wonderful and we have already booked 3 of the sites for a large family camp in September. The only other issue that some might have is there is some traffic noise from cars on the access road that our site was located next to, but as it was not a main highway, the noise was not constant.

Great campgrounds! The on-site staff was very friendly and helpful, helped me by gold carted the firewood bundles I purchased down to my site. The campground is lovely and well maintained. Trails down to the river are maintained by the Boy Scouts and they were there making repairs when I pulled up. Pit toilets were clean and well maintained. Hose spigot super close to my site. Beautiful and peaceful spot. Will visit here again! T-Mobile, no service the entire time.

Clean bathrooms, campsite and grounds, good river access (one of the paths down needs repaired). Very little cell service but we liked that.

Very pleasant campground. Pit toilet was clean, my site #7 was level and had a paved driveway. I only overnighted here and it was raining so did not check out the trails. There is a covered picnic table area with a sink that would have been quite helpful had I wanted to cook. My site was right on the river. I saw stairs in the Day Use area that went down to the river. The Umpqua was very high due to a lot of recent rain so I could not determine if there was any beach area. I will definitely come back here. The only down side was no AT&T cell signal.

love the campsite clean bathroom but the vaults were so stinky.

Tyee is a beautiful campground. Spaces are set apart so you are not right next to your neighborhood. Secluded but with a lot of room to stretch out. We had one of the "tent only" sites and it was perfect. The campground itself is very well maintained with a campground host on-site. It looked to use that each campsite is cleaned between campers. It also has the cleanest vaulted toilets that we have ever seen. It was so refreshing not dreading having to use the toilet! Tyee campground was an amazing find!

Pristine campsites, raked like a zen garden not a speck of litter. Mowed and care for grounds and just loved the horseshoe court, took me back to childhood. The water access had wide paved trails with stairs to the bedrock of the river. Late summer was the perfect temp for a swim. The bathrooms were as clean as could be with electric light and fan ventilation. The only ding would be the highway traffic noise across the river.

Very clean campground, pretty and several fairly private sites. Stayed at site #1 & #10. #10 was better, large and could hold 2 tents or more. Picnic table was wheelchair accessible and whole site was flat, with lots of room round the fire pit. Only downside is that there is no hiking, just a path that runs the length of the campground. No fire wood for sale, and I never saw a camp host... but not a problem for me. The Umpqua was gorgeous to wake up to. Would stay again.

Lovely spot on the river. Well looked after facilities. Bit traffic noisy in the day but quiet at night and you stop noticing after a while.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
