Enjoyed the site we were in. Plenty of room for our trailer and tent. We were also able to park our boat trailer at site as well. There was access to the lake right from our site, making it easy to access our drift boat and kayaks. Our stay was at the end of August, so water level was down, making it a longer walk from our site to the waters edge. Nice little beach so that we did not have to go through the mud. Downside of the site is is that there is limited shade, making hot days extremely uncomfortable.

Clean, quiet, beautiful. I was only there for one night, but it was delightful. The ranger was friendly when he came by to make sure I knew the rules and where everything was. Got a hot shower in the morning - a campground 1st for me!

I really enjoyed this campsite, it was clean, quiet, the restrooms were clean and well lit at night. It was easy to make a reservation. Excellent, friendly service at checkout. Great price.. I will definitely camp there again.

G loop does not have showers and a real bathroom. It was however more quiet than the other loops.

Pine Meadows park is a very family friendly place, busy but not obnoxious. Perched on the edge of Pine Lake, surprisingly more people hang out in the campground than on the lake itself. And the park staff wisely [but probably with little popularity among some guests] prohibit either alcohol or drugs in the park or on the lake. My guess is previous bad experiences with people who should not be doing one or the other.

I wasnt sure what to expect of this campground but it turned out wonderful! We did primitive camping and the campsite was very nice. The workers check the site fairly often and maintain bathrooms, etc. there is lots of swimming options and parks for kids close by. Would come again.

Lake level is way low and if you want to swim you have to walk thru muck to get out in the water. Often times rules are not enforced. Lots of barking dogs that the owners tied to a tree and left camp. Unfortunately, there were several inconsiderate people there, running generators after 10 pm or talking quite loud after quiet hour started. The host and hostess are extremely nice. We ended up leaving 2 days early and got a refund. Although the refund was not processed correctly, I was able to email them and get it corrected. It is a beautiful area with several lakefront sites. We just got unlucky this year with a huge group that often comes in July and take over the beach like they own it. Such a shame.

Beautiful facilities. Quiet,campground employees available and easy to locate but not intrusive. Bathroom/showers clean roomy and well stocked (scented soap!). Site has plenty of both sunny&shade areas to each site I saw,including ours. Lake access is easy,you can see the lake from your tent window and its just feet away to access the water. Overall excellent location&employees

Nice park and host were friendly. We stayed in site 1. The site is a big pull through for big rigs but the tree limbs need to be trimmed. I had to back out to avoid hitting the top of my pickup let alone the trailer at 11. This is a site that folks with big rigs would book but the high clearance will be an issue.

Be vigilant with your belongings, we had fuel siphoned from our camper.

We really enjoy camping here - the spots are large and close to the water. It's very family friendly, so be prepared for lots of kids. Not a great place to camp if you're looking for quiet and solitude.

Very beautiful campground right on the lake . Hosts are easy going friendly and helpful. Very basic campground no electricity just a picnic table fire pit and that's all. But what more do u need when your in the middle of the woods on a lake

This has become our family and friends campout campground now for our yearly campout 3 years in a row. Beautiful lake, showers helpful rangers... Will be back next year!
@AnnieGC44D67BF · Camped on Jun 27, 2025 at Campsite #60
The site is too crowded that all the camp sites are super close to each other, they even put 2 sites right next to the bathroom which is super noisy due to the flushing or hand drying machine. Poor organization.
@AudraG1BDEAA7F · Camped on Jun 27, 2025 at Campsite #17
The spot my family was in was great. Staff were friendly and the amenities were well taken care of. We will be going back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
