Giant, clean sites and great river access. Not a ton of hiking but the path that was there was nice.

the only thing I can say that was not very good was its right next to the road which log trucks come down at around 4amBathrooms were some of the cleanest when I was there. Trash near by...and the riv er was beautiful!!!!

Tent sites were beautifully raked and maintained. We left after 30 minutes because there were rats truly SURROUNDING our campsite and we couldnt go five seconds without hearing them rustling around loudly. If youre fine with that, no problems to report. Im just a light and anxious sleeper and had never witnessed that many rats in one place.

I used to come here all the time when I was a kid. Hadnt been in 10 years, and its still as wonderful as I remember. Spacious camp sites and right on the river, what more could you ask for? :)

We stayed in site 2, have a 30 trailer, the cement pad is bumpy and it was difficult to level the trailer. There is an over powering smell of feces next too bathrooms (pit toilets), and we could also smell it along the road by our site. Rats are everywhere at night. The stairs are dangerous to walk down to the river. River is full of algae on the banks, so if you want to swim you have to swim out where the current is strong. Camp hosts never came by. I gave it three stars because it is a quiet campground, sites are not too close to each other and other sites looked level compared to site 002.

Clean, tidy campground. Simple and excellent accommodations. Easy access to the beautiful Umpqua River.

The camp was clean and neat. The camp host was fantastic. I was forced to leave on arrival due to an emergency that arose and Recreation.gov refuses to offer any refund for the four nights I planned to stay even though I never used the site and cancelled immediately. Beware when booking with them. Others have shared similar experiences regarding the same issues. They are happy to take your money but good luck getting any of it back.

Camp sites were clean and flat. Bench tables with wheel chair cut outs which I thought was cool. Views of the river in the morning were awesome. Earl the host was one of the best I’ve come across up and down the entire coast!

Loved the camping spot. It was nice to sleep to the sound of water.

campsite only by reservation. I arrived and they had open sites and was a real pain to stand in parking lot next to camphost and log in on my phone and reserve. Should be able just pay the camphost. especially since it was off season mid week and there were open sites. But the campground and host were great.
