The camp hosts were friendly and really kept the place clean and organized! The bathrooms were clean and they even had a little puck light that had a motion sensor in the bathroom that came on at night when you went in.The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars-we always stayed in site 21 which used to be HUGE. Now due to brush/weed encroachment after years of flooding etc the site now has quite a bit of nettle and not a close access to the river. The hosts did a nice job of cutting some of it back but it probably needs to be cleaned with heavy machinery in spots

Great place! Wish there was potable water. The river isnt the most accessible but still fun. Lots of mosquitoes! Great half way point between Baker and Bellingham/Birch Bay.

This was a quiet, beautiful campground on the Nooksack River, 15 minutes from all the big hikes in the area, and 20 minutes from the Heather Meadows parking lot. It is an excellent jumping place to hike. Additionally, the bathrooms, although pit toilets, were very clean and well maintained! Camp hosts were very friendly and available for questions and help.

Lovely spot, plenty of room for the four of us camping before a backpacking trip into North Cascades. Easy access to Artist Point.

First time camping in a tent in over 30 years. Been to this site many times in an RV. A great level camping spot. Private with a wonderful place alongside the river. The toilets were amazingly clean. Only negative part of the experience were the camp hosts. Really rude couple. Really indifferent and rude.

Great little primitive campground with close proximity to stunning hikes in the area.

The campground is very peaceful. Campsites are private and well separated. The outhouse is very clean and does not smell. The camp hosts are very friendly, helpful and kind. Our van ran into some serious problems. Mike let us use their satellite phone to make some calls because there was no cell phone signal. He even drove us to Maple Falls (20 miles away) to buy some transmission fluid so our van could run. Exceptional hosts!

Wonderful campground with water access for most sites. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Camp bathrooms were clean. The only issue was that the water from the water pump appeared to have a high concentration of iron in it. Not sure if that was because it was early in the season.

Beautiful campground with great access to Baker. Camp hosts went above and beyond maintaining the campground, outfitting the pit toilets with night lights, hand sanitizer, and keeping the toilets clean!

My experience at site 15 was nothing short of excellent. The site offered ample spacebig enough to park a 20ft vehicle (Sprinter Van) sideways on the generous parking padwhich is a huge plus if you're traveling with a larger rig or RV and want easy access between the vehicle and the campsite via a side/slider door. Site 15 doesnt have a view of the river as its blocked by trees but the sound of the river is a nice feature. Views of the river are only steps away. The cleanliness of the facilities really stood out. The vault toilets were exceptionally neat and well-maintained, which added a level of comfort to the stay that many campgrounds unfortunately miss. While there were some mosquitoes buzzing around, the use of citronella candles did a fantastic job keeping them at bay, so you could enjoy the evening without interruptions and bites! The camp hosts deserve a special mention for their courteous and welcoming attitude.Beyond the campsite, the location itself is great for nearby hikes by the river. The kids enjoyed hours of skipping rocks.

Fabulous campground along the north fork of the Nooksack River. We were in site 11, which, to our opinion, was the best site in this small campground. It was very private and spacious. That said, any site in this beautiful campground would be good. The location also was perfect as it is 20 minutes to Artist Point, one of the most spectacular vistas in the U.S.

Campground host, Lydia was amazing. She accomodated our request to change campsites and was so helpful on how to go about doing that. She is amazing.

Booked and paid for a campground online (or so I thought). When we got to the campground, it turned out we booked the picknick tables for day use. Paid $60 for that!! I even got a conformation mail that I reserved a spot for 1 night. Luckily, the ranger on site had another spot available and helped us.

Nice quiet campground. Very clean privys. Nice sites with a great location close to awesome hikes.

Dislikes : lots of mosquitos at our campsite (site #14), likely due to all the overgrown plants around the edges of the site. I also thought the site would have direct access to the river, but only about 3 campsites at Silver Fir Campground had river access. Likes: I liked the short drive to Mt. Baker/ Artist Point.

Quiet to clean campground. The restrooms were particularly clean. Most campsites were right on the Nooksack river.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
