I love Silver Fir Campground! But don’t tell too many people. It’s already hard enough to get reservations there! 😎 The campsites are right on the Nooksack River with easy access up the road to Heather Meadows and Artist Point. This campsite has the cleanest bathrooms of any campsite in the Cascades. Hands down. The Camp Host is outstanding and helpful. And it’s not a party campsite like some others. Very quiet, peaceful, laidback, and a great place to hang after a day of hiking. Also a great spot to just relax by the river and chill all day. I go a couple of times every year. One of the best.

Beautiful spots right next to the river. The campground was very peaceful and quiet. Lots of mosquitoes

Stayed at site #19. Very quiet campground. Restrooms seem close on the map, but they are out of sight. Site is right to the river but there is small 6' ledge you must go down to get to it (not for everyone). Neighbor sites are separated by trees and plants. Very secluded for a public developed campground. Host was very nice and hospitable. Overall, no issues at all and one of the best campsites I have ever stayed at. One thing... the table is very rough on the surface so make sure to bring a tablecloth. No cell service, but there is good coverage in the Baker Ski Area 15 minutes out (you pass a cell tower on the way up).
