Beautiful! Fantastic views, amazing natural lazy river, great amenities. Its nice to be able to take a shower after spending the day in the river. Park hosts were very helpful and friendly.

We love Big Bend Campground. It's a quiet campground with clean facilities and no cell service (which for us, is amazing). The camp hosts are super friendly and available for questions as needed. We tent camp, and feel there is enough space between campsites that you don't hear everything going on around you. The lower river side campsites are lovely, but we've stayed in the upper campsites and enjoyed our time there as well. Bring a tube for tubing around the bend. Plenty of fish to be pursued as well.

Campground and campsite were extremely clean. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They seem to always be out checking everything, which we appreciated. Our site, #22, was well shaded and less than a 5min walk from the bathhouse. Bathrooms and showers were very clean with plenty of hot water. The whole area was nice and quiet. We were only a short (~10min) walk from the Potomac River. Walking out in it was a welcome respite from the heat. Theres a nearby country store that you pass on the way in that has camping provisions and WiFi. We would definitely camp here again.

Cleanest bathrooms in the last couple of years of camping in forest service campgrounds. The sites were super clean and the camp host was nice and helpful.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, the camp hosts were wonderful and helped with all of our needs, until 4:45 AM when the garbage truck came to empty the dumpsters. Its was so loud in our rooftop tent that it hurt our ears and it was there for a good 5 minutes. Our dog was terrified and so were we at first, its not a pleasant way to wake up. I would think scheduling the truck for hours when the campers are awake would be a better option. There should be a warning on trash pick up day. Again it was wonderful accept the dumpster truck. The campers hosts went out of their way to help out. Its not their fault, but the campers in the sights close to the dumpsters should be warned. I have PTSD and loud noises like that are very triggering. I came to camp in the quiet of nature, definitely wasnt expecting a 4:45 AM ear drum bursting garbage truck for a wake up call.

So.. it was crazy HOT when we went! But its a really nice campground. It would be super nice though if there was access to power.. at least near the bathhouse..

The campground was very nice with well spaced camp sites, terrific tree canopies, attention to quiet hours and clean restroom/shower facilities. This is also a favorite campground of ours for the easy access to the river for a refreshing and peaceful 45 minute float around the campground. Wildlife sightseeing was also really fun with a variety of large and small deer, bald eagles and waterfowl seen on our last trip.

It was very good experience. We have gone there for years and meet new campers and rejoined old camping friends. Lot of campers know me as the person who plays the song'' COUNTRY ROAD'' at the end of the day. This year the showers walls were WHITE and the floors were very clean. The camp ground hoists Rick & Tomico worked very hard to keep everything clean. Even if there was rain and mud. They kept after them. The hoists Rick& Tomico were very pleasant and helpful to make our stay even better. The fishing was kinda up and down because of rain, The river was well stocked with large trout. I caught a few nice ones. The view of the mountains from the camp grounds is ''Great''. The camp ground is full of animals deer, rabbits, squirrels and lots of different birds. Its worth the trip that's why we keep going back. See you there!

Ive been going to this campsite for almost a decade. I havent been for two years, and just went at the beginning of the summer. The new management is incredible! The bathrooms and showers are actually white, and not covered in yellow slime.The check in couple is so friendly, and gave my kid a book and stuffed animal. It was such a great experience, and we will definitely be going back next year!

This is a fabulous campground. It is the perfect place for those who want beauty and nature. The campground hosts, Rick and Tomoco, are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and campsites are very clean and well maintained. We also had great camping neighbors, especially Kerry, who brings smiles and joy to everyone he meets.

Campsite was clean and well arranged. We liked the movable grill over the fire pit which allowed us to grill over either wood or charcoal. Tent pad was level though the crushed rock was a little hard. Flush toilets and bath house worked well and were kept clean. Trash container was nearby. Host and hostess were friendly and helpful. The had removed trees from the septic field for the flush toilets so that stargazing was excellent. I would recommend this campground.

Nice little campground. The road in was a little small. The route to 28 is a little easier than 220.

We had a great visit to Big Bend campground 9/13 - 9/16! The camp hosts, Debbie and Jean, were some of the friendliest and helpful people we have ever met. The campground was clean along with the showers (free!) and bathrooms (besides the spiders but that's camping). There is a water and dump station at the entrance of the campground with individual water spigots located around the campground. The only reason I'm giving my experience a 4/5 is because site number 3 is near a pit toilet which was smelly depending on which way the wind was blowing (but it was in pristine condition!). Of note, it takes about 20-30 minutes to drive the canyon road to the campground since it's windy, narrow and not paved at parts. Will definitely be back!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
