Love this place! Debbie and Gene do an amazing job. Keeping the bathrooms and showers clean. Very helpful and friendly. Cant wait to go back.

This was our 3rd year visiting Big Bend. Every year gets better and better. The scenery can’t be beat and the lazy river is always a good time. The bathrooms and showers at the campgrounds were the cleanest I’ve seen them yet! Can’t wait for next year.

Very Quiet, pretty private. You can hear the river from your site. Clean bathrooms.

Camp sites book up quickly but the campground is well maintained. Bathrooms can get crowded bad sites near the bathrooms are hard to sleep at night due to the lights from the bathroom and the banging of the bathroom door.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The perfect place for a family camping trip or a private get away. The campsites are large and all have mostly shade. The river is just a short walk down a shady path and provides tubing and swimming activities for all ages.(would recommend kids over 5 for the tubing). The campground manager is beyond nice. The facilities are always clean. Heading there again this week with the grandkids…our third trip this summer.??

We found Big Bend seven years ago by chance and have been going back every year since. It is our little piece of heaven. The caretaker, Glen, lives at the campsite and takes pride in keeping everything clean and in great condition. The best thing about Big Bend, IMHO, is the tubing. You can literally tube all day long in a circle since the river makes a big horseshoe around the campground. There is a rope swing over a deep part of the river where everyone stops each time we go around. On our last visit, two people in our group hiked up the mountain on the other side of the river from the campsite and reached the fire road that runs along the ridge. Challenging hike but great view!! Note: if you have kids or teenagers, there is NO cell service in the valley, which is another reason we love it. ;) Seneca Rocks (amazing sheer rock face) is about 40 minutes away with world-class rock climbing (also guided climbs for beginners) and great hikes.

We camp here 3 to 5 times a year and we have never had a bad experience. My wife had never been camping before and now this is her favorite place in the world. Cannot recommend this place enough. Our dog also loves to camp and swim here. Site # 6 is our absolute favorite.
