Campsite was perfect! Close to the shower house but had plenty of grass space for the kids to play. Shower houses were very clean, but the floors were SLICK when wet. Also the showers only had scalding hot water, like I could hardly use them hot. Playground was clean and well kept, and overall it was very quiet! Swim beach was clean.

Nice campsite which stays shady most of the day

Great setup with concrete pads long & wide enough for my 35 foot 5th-wheel trailer. The water and electric was in a perfect position to allow me to utilize the whole pad and not worry about slide-out positions. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The RV sites are very level as well as the tent site locations. Newer looking toilet houses that were pretty clean and offered flush toilets. Plenty of room between sites so you don't feel like you are in your neighbor's business.... For $22 per night it was hard to beat. My only wish was 50Amp service versus the 30 Amp currently offered. It got a little warm in the afternoons running only 1 A/C unit. All in all a great value.

Spots are packed, no water play for kids not even a sprinkler in your area.

It was our first time camping there in our RV. We were surprised there was no sewage hook-up; however, all was well. Site #45 was perfect for our RV trailer camper. Our family was in tents next to us at #42, and we had enough room for the two tents and still had balloon fights. We even had enough room on the parking slab to jump rope. The senior couple who were caretakers, along with their two tiny puppies, were a joy. Returning to the campground.

Had a great site that was well shaded and a good lake view. Sites are well spaced, and both the CG and shower house and smaller restrooms were very clean. This is the third time weve stayed here and recommend it.

My husband and I spent 11 days in 44 on the east side of the park. It was a wonderful time. The lot was wide and we didnt feel like we were on top of our neighbors.The grass did need to be mowed but we have had a lot of rain.

The late check on is difficult to schedule particularly when coming from a different campground where you have to check out before noon

We enjoyed fishing for catfish as a family and the disc golf course was fun too!There were 4 deer down close to the shore in the evening and baby geese following their Mom in the water. The songs of orioles delighted us too! The sites and shower houses were nice and clean! We have been coming here for many years in May and will be back for sure!

The campsite and the restrooms were so clean! We would see someone check the restrooms several times through the day. Other campers were all respectful. We enjoyed the stay so much we even extended it by another day!

Bloomington East # 49 was a great location. We have camped in this spot before and would choose it again. You can see the lake. Easy place to walk dog. Close to restroom. The spot is relatively level.

This camp site has the door facing the west so keep that in mind. However, it was not bad when we were there. You could perhaps take a pop up for those few hours in the evening. It is at the end of the line so no neighbors to the driver side. it is close to the main road, so it was easy to walk the dogs to the lake versus walking through the campground and activating the dog alarm system. :-) Overall, a good site except for the hours with no shade.

Other campground was closed early, denying others the opportunity to campAnd the Bloomington East Campground closed early. We need a campground host. Let me know. Ill be willing to stay till the end of the month in November. Campgrounds need to be open. A lot of people like to camp when weather is cooler.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
