This was our first time staying at Clinton Lake and we were impressed with everything about it. The campsites were neat and well maintained. The facilities were clean , stocked, and readily accessible. We did have one noisy neighbor but that was dealt with by staff promptly and discreetly. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely campsites, large and roomy. Shade in the heat is so welcome, lots of that as well! My favorite place to go hang out away from the world!

The noise level after quiet hours was not well enforced. There was a huge crowd with multiple cars and loud music until midnight when I finally just left.

Walnut and Hickory campgrounds offer wind and sun protected sites with views of the water, and easy walking distance to Bloomington Beach. Grounds and facilities well maintained by the Corps of Engineers staff.

Nice campground for the money. Sites are roomy and maintained well. Restroom and shower areas are clean. Easy access to fishing dock, ramps and plenty of parking.

This was a very well maintained campground. It is quiet and relatively remote because of its location between the two main arms of Clinton Lake. It's about 20 miles either way to get into Lawrence if you need supplies or want a choice of restaurants. We had water and were in one of the 50-amp spots available, which was good, because shade was scarce and both A/C units were needed on 90+ degree days.

The lights in the bathrooms didn't work. The bathrooms and showers where not clean. You have to realize that these are the most important things when camping with a family.

I've been using Bloomington East/ Cedar Ridge for several years. The facilities have generally always been clean and functional. We use T-Mobile and had great reception.
