We had a very good weekend there. We loved the space we had to play games with our kids & grands that visited us there. The only thing I cant understand is why they dont clear out some of that brush along the banks to give a better view of the lake.

Campsites were a bit too close for comfort for us, no shade and no privacy. We're used to having lakefront sites so this was definitely different for us. There are gnats everywhere. We almost left because of the bugs.Shower and bathroom facilities were very clean. The playground is also nice. The beach area is amazing. No litter and the bathrooms there was very clean as well.

The view and scenery was great, but the bugs were terrible couldn't go outside in the evening because of bugs even bug spray didn't help.

When I first got to my campsite(42), there were pretty big tree limbs that had fallen around the site and on the site. You could tell they've been there a while. I was surprised that the host didn't have it cleaned up prior to someone reserving or moving into that site. I ended up pulling out my little chainsaw and cutting everything up myself because they were huge and literally in the way on my site especially with me having dogs. I didn't need them getting all tangled up in it. On top of that there was spider webs everywhere within the tree limbs and around the site. The site that I chose was supposed to have shade but you can tell some of the trees have died off so it definitely doesn't have the shade that you think it does. I also felt that it was a bit dangerous that the tree didn't have all its dead limbs taken off because any of those could have fallen on my camper at any time. The bug situation at this campsite during this time was crazy and out of control! It made it really hard for me to want to sit outside and enjoy nature. Not sure that that's something the campground can really avoid since it's nature. The sites had water, electricity, and was fairly level. They had a dump station on the way out along with dumpsters. I didn't use the shower house, but they did have one. They also had two washers and dryers. They were $1.50 a load, which was a nice surprise because I didn't know they had that here. They had all sorts of playgrounds for kids to play on along with volleyball nets and multiple boat ramps. They also had a beach. However, I never really saw anyone on it or in the water.I've never been to this Campground before so when I arrived I kind of assumed the host was going to give me a map of some sort or tell me where I needed to go but she didn't. While i was in the middle of checking in she got a phone call and thought that it was more important to take a friends call before finish checking me in which I thought was pretty rude.

This park was an overnight stay along our journey,It was ok. Sites in the center were pull through and appeared level.Sites on the outside loop were pretty much down hill. Restrooms/ shower facilities were old and needed a major cleaning.

Check out time to late 5pm, never herd of this as we got to the campground at 2:30pm and our site was still occupied, host was nice but could do nothing about it. Check out at most COE's we stay at is 3pm at the latest. I like to be totally set up by 5 so I can take it easy for the rest of the evening. Need more full hookup sites. Most we stay at have many more full hookup sites, Airconditioned bathrooms, and wifi. This one does not. On the positive side. Site was level and blacktopped with gravel areas and spacious. Campground is quiet, and clean. Hosts are nice and friendly. If you want people to pick up after their pets, you should install pet sanitation stations. Other COE parks we stay at do. We carry bags, but others do not. But even ours are limited as we expect pet sanitation stations to be available.

We camp out there a lot and every single time the camp hosts are rude and never to be seen unless you are checking in. They never drive through and check on anyone. The man is very very rude and the woman is pretty rude as well. They have NO business in this position. Grounds have gone downhill. Not frequently mowing and gravel around the water and electricity posts is all washed away and nothing but mud and muck. We have seen improvement with cleanliness of the restrooms with the new person doing them.

This was our first time staying at Clinton Lake and we were impressed with everything about it. The campsites were neat and well maintained. The facilities were clean , stocked, and readily accessible. We did have one noisy neighbor but that was dealt with by staff promptly and discreetly. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely campsites, large and roomy. Shade in the heat is so welcome, lots of that as well! My favorite place to go hang out away from the world!

The noise level after quiet hours was not well enforced. There was a huge crowd with multiple cars and loud music until midnight when I finally just left.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
