I loved my time at Bloomington East. Its probably the nicest campground Ive been to. I love how far each site was from the next. Everything was very neat and clean.

Had a great stay, only issue encountered was the check-in/out times. They are very unusual with a 5pm check-out, and a 6pm check-in.

Bloomington is one of our favorite places to camp. The grounds are kept nice and we love the view of the lake.

The restrooms were very clean. Unfortunately, some dog owners dont pick up after their pets, even when they are on or near another campers spot. In this particular instance, the dogs were a Great Dane and a Husky.

We truly enjoyed our visit this year. From the twice daily migration of the geese to the herd of deer on the final day. The guests seemed to be well behaved and actually quiet at night. Such a beautiful setting with a view of the distant lake.

Very nice Pull through site. Lots of room, plenty long for a 28ft ft trailer and truck. End site, so only neighbors on one side. Great park. Good disc golf

Had issue with previous camper staying past check out,Need 50 amp upgrade. More shade trees planted where new ones were have died.

We love Bloomington East and Clinton Lake. We have been camping there for over 15 years. All the rangers and volunteers take very good care of the campgrounds and buildings. Would like to see the electrical updated. We have had to replace our 30 amp connection 3 times due faulty electrical at the site. More 50amp sites should be added. Most of the rigs that come to Bloomington East don't work with or at least work well with 30amp connections. The people who pull or drive these 50amp only rigs prefer Bloomington East to anywhere in the area, including other lakes. Thanks for making this campground such a good destination!

Bloomington East at Clinton Lake is one of the nicer campgrounds in the Midwest. There are a number of large paved sites with well manicured lawn and plenty of tree coverage. Many sites have full hookups and it's a quiet campground. Clinton Lake is one of the larger bodies of water in the Kansas/Nebraska area and is as pretty as any. The Other Bloomington Campground is closer to Lawrence, quite a bit bigger, but is busier and not quite as manicured. This is one of the better campgrounds within a 3-hour drive from Omaha and less than an hour from the KC Metro.

Favorite spot closest to home! The campsites are clean, quiet, and a beach nearby for water activities. There are sometimes Eagle nest sightings!
