Very clean and quiet

This was a very well maintained campground. It is quiet and relatively remote because of its location between the two main arms of Clinton Lake. It's about 20 miles either way to get into Lawrence if you need supplies or want a choice of restaurants. We had water and were in one of the 50-amp spots available, which was good, because shade was scarce and both A/C units were needed on 90+ degree days.

I didnt use the womens restroom but my husband said the mens restroom was disgusting. Have noticed before that the small bathrooms werent very clean either. Even after watching someone go in to clean. The campground is one of our favorites. But the restroom is really hurting it. Find someone else!

Always clean and quiet.
The grandkids always have fun at the playground and going down to the beach for a swim.

The campsites are mostly level and the Camp host/attendants are very helpful. We really appreciate peace and quiet so Thursdays thru Saturdays were a bit trying; we have a dog and weekends bring lots of children and dogs.
Really appreciated the laundry facilities both at Cedar Ridge and Hickory.
The bathroom/shower facilities were not clean! The soap dishes had soil build up. the edges and corners where walls join floor were moldy. My opinion is that they need a power washing. There was also peeling paint in several. Liked having hot'ish water with good pressure and the type of controls I could turn on and run continuously (not the water flow restriction buttons--- yeah thank you).
The grass was kept well mowed, the trash was regularly picked up around the sites and the dumpsters were emptied regularly (several times a week).
Great places to walk our dog and let run free on the frisbee golf course.
Overall we enjoyed out stay... thank you so much

It's a great place to camp! The lake is great only a couple of things need updated the number of 50 amp sites,add sewer and make it so you can adjust the water temperature in the showers right now it gets hot enough my grandchildren won't use them and I don't either.
