Rock Creek Campground in Jefferson County is located just 27 min east of Topeka, KS with an elevation of 915 feet. There are a total of 102 campsites including 10 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of September. 88 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 100 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 59 sites have electric and water hookups. 2 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $14.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, playground. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Wonderful park close to Lawrence and Topeka. Lots of opportunities for boating. Weather was cold and then hot. Very close to two historical museums and good restaurants.

Level site, but this is a buddy site to 29. Looking behind us we had views of the water, but our front view was the neighbors camper. Overall good site. Just wish it was listed as a buddy site.

Thank you again for your assistance in this matter.The park is now closed for the season we will definitely be camping there next year. I hope the spot PB44 loop is up and working correctly. The camp hosts have the campground neat and picked up. Ron and John take EXCELLENT care not only of the penusilla at Rock Creek but the campers who stay there. We are looking forward to seeing Ron and John back again next year!

Great FAMILY place, Kids have fun and get good night sleep. Rangers JUST drive through and DON"T talk to visitor, , Those Volunteers working there are GREAT PEOPLE, The stop and talk to FAMILY and KIDS, they ask if we need assistance . BEST FAMILY CAMP GROUNDS at Perry

The site was great we were off grid and a little off by ourselves so peaceful. Bathrooms are nice except the lights are on a motion timer and it always would go off just as I was getting dressed, so if after sundown was really dark! Another 5 minutes and it would have been fine.

Site was covered with small flies. Party with loud music ran until 10pm, then a large, loud group finally broke up around 12am, but a couple of guys continued to talk and laughing loudly thru most of the night!
