Very nice campground, the site we were in was very level and well cared for. Right next to the water and had amazing sunrises and sunsets.The only issues we have are the shower and toilet facilities, the shower house definitely needs upgraded and the cleanliness is subpar. It just doesnt get cleaned like it should and there is no sanitizer available. Same holds true for the vault toilets, hardly any effort is made to clean them.

Our spot was taken when we arrived. I had to book and pay for another spot for the night. So, I paid double the price and did not get the spot we wanted and reserved ahead of time.

Good lake very clean some good shade. However by the site I was at there was no shade 100 degrees there was some rush blocking the view of the lake that had no purpose of being there It would also be better if the shower house would be closer to the campers instead of being at the entrance of the park. If the bathhouse is to be that far away you should provide sewer at the campsite. Again it was a good clean park with shore line smooth enough to park water craft at the shore.

We camped at Edwardsville. It wasn't ever packed with people. So, it was very open and peaceful. Gorgeous sunrises over the lake every morning. The fire pit has a grilling grate that's adjustable. It's easy to drive around and find wood for it. A few spots have trees for shade. Plenty of kindling under those to start your fires up. I like the fencing between the parking area and the campsites. Although, I do wish there were more entrances in that fencing. Restrooms onsite are pretty decent. Although, millions of bugs, including spiders and wasps and could use better ventilation. The shower house is just around the curve- You can see it from the campgrounds. It's pretty nice. Shower heads could stand to be redone. But, plenty of Tinley and shower stalls available. Less bugs and pretty good ventilation. Toilet paper stays stocked. Yeah cans stay emptied. It's kept pretty clean! Love this lake and this campsite! It's where we go, every time!

Rock Creek Peninsula is great because you can see water on both sides of the camping areas. The cove worked great for swimming, kayaking and fishing. It is a well kept campground with friendly volunteers on-site. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful park! We went the wrong weekend and it was too hot! No shade to be found and limited bathrooms. So if you dont have a big rv with a toilet and air conditioning Id wait until the weather changes. Also no entry past 10pm into the park. Tire spikes and everything!

Beware the water pressure at the sights. Also, some sights have water on the wrong side of the sight. We used a longer hose to reach the spigot and did not transfer our pressure reducer. Result was we saw the cartridge for the kitchen sink blow out and the shower head cracked. Both had to be replaced.

We were able to launch our SUPs within walking distance of our site. Also enjoyed 10 mile bike rides.

Wonderful park close to Lawrence and Topeka. Lots of opportunities for boating. Weather was cold and then hot. Very close to two historical museums and good restaurants.

Level site, but this is a buddy site to 29. Looking behind us we had views of the water, but our front view was the neighbors camper. Overall good site. Just wish it was listed as a buddy site.

Nice shade, close to bathrooms (so a fair amount of foot traffic near site). I would pick the site again.

Unfortunately, the area around our campsite hadn't been mowed for awhile. We heard they're having difficulty in finding people to mow.

The camp hosts have the campground neat and picked up. Ron and John take EXCELLENT care not only of the penusilla at Rock Creek but the campers who stay there. We are looking forward to seeing Ron and John back again next year!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
