Campground is in the very back. There is a shelter, no bathroom like the West Group Site. Dog didnt get any ticks like the West Group Site, but he got infested with fleas. I realize this is all a part of nature and thats fine however it is still a pain to deal with.

The campsites are incredibly close together, but the site we had was well suited to use of a wheelchair. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. The light for the restrooms near our site was apparently motion activated, so we didn't have to deal with the light remaining on all night, which was nicer than many sites we have used.

We have been camping at Slough Creek for decades! The camping sites are wonderful - very spacious. Recently there have been some changes due to funding. That must attribute to the very unsatisfactory condition of the bathrooms and shower houses. If the facility is going to be open, there should be some kind of funding to pay someone to at least make these facilities sanitary! Although there was paper in the bathrooms, not once, in two weeks, was the bathroom cleaned...at all. Some of our camping crew used the shower houses and they were even worse! Next season has to be an improvement!

We like this location and have had no issues with the park itself or the rv sites. Shower house needs an update.

I was not happy with the combined space. We were in our space and when the guy next to us came in, we had no room.

I have camped here for years and the past year I would have to say that the bathrooms are HORRIBLE! Does anyone even clean them. I always stay in south point and worthington (slough creek). If you are paying someone top clean them they are getting paid WAY TOO MUCH! I also have a camper that requires 50amp. You need more 50amp campsites. The gate attendants are fantastic! Mowing has gotten better also.

Bathrooms could use some work but great experience every time I camp there at least every other weekend

Meet a lot of nice people there ! It would be nice if they had concrete or asphalt pads when it rains it becomes a mess around the camper and when that happens it ends up in the camper. But I had a good time .

S080 had a beautiful view. Close to restrooms and dumpsters. Shady spot. Level spot. Easy to back into. Camphosts were present and friendly.

We had a nice campsite on the water with some shade which was great. We really wish, though, that the firepit locations were better thought out. Ours was at the back where the view to the lake was blocked if sitting by the fire. Since the lake seems to be the main event, that makes no sense. We looked around at other sites and many of the firepits were at the back and also in close proximity to the next-door site. The bathrooms were not very clean and had no soap. I used the bathroom one morning, leaned over to flush it and the water blew up in my face! Ugh! Guess the water pressure had really built up.

This park is fantastic. Picked this spot because my camper does not have a canopy, and the natural shade was great.

Camp hosts are very welcoming, informative and check on the campgrounds often. The sites are spacious and clean.

So calm and peaceful. Being lake front gave me an unobstructed view of the thunderstorms rolling through!

Bathrooms, particularly stools, need deep cleaning and painting. No reason for pealing paint and stool rings!!!

Loved how secluded it was. Space was great. The only things we didnt like was there are a lot of ticks, lot of wasps, and quite a bit of spiders. When it rained it deff flooded in some areas. The bathrooom was a tad bit sketchy. Deff bring some light of some sort for this area. Minus those few things it was great. We enjoyed our time.We will deff be renting this site again.

The hosts are exceptional! The fire pits were clean and the mowing was done while we were there!! Overhanging trees did need trimmed. Thank you!!

Overall, Southpoint campground is a great spot, nice and level for the trailers.The only drawback could possibly be the shower houses need some attention. They are looking pretty rundown and could be cleaner.The biggest problem is navigating the website for reservations. I feel like it could be refined just a little bit.

We had a nice level site with shade and a view of the lake. Only recommendation would be to ask for signage to site numbers. It would help to know which road to follow to get to our site number. Just going by the map wasn't helpful for me.

Restrooms need some deep cleaning! Im not sure they've been cleaned at all this year. Wasps nest are really bad around the dump station near the gate.

We enjoyed our stay, the only thing we didnt like was even with the gate closed and the sign that said road closed people kept opening the gate and coming in. But we love the location.

We have camped at Slough Creek many times, but the park was in better shape and looked more beautiful than I have ever seen it. It was mowed and trimmed, and it was a joy to be there. Keep up the good work!! I have seen it at times when we would remark how badly it needed to be mowed, which just contributes to the insect problem. We were very pleased this time. Please continue to keep this beautiful campground in good shape.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
