We had a nice level site with shade and a view of the lake. Only recommendation would be to ask for signage to site numbers. It would help to know which road to follow to get to our site number. Just going by the map wasn't helpful for me.

Restrooms need some deep cleaning! Im not sure they've been cleaned at all this year. Wasps nest are really bad around the dump station near the gate.

We enjoyed our stay, the only thing we didnt like was even with the gate closed and the sign that said road closed people kept opening the gate and coming in. But we love the location.

We have camped at Slough Creek many times, but the park was in better shape and looked more beautiful than I have ever seen it. It was mowed and trimmed, and it was a joy to be there. Keep up the good work!! I have seen it at times when we would remark how badly it needed to be mowed, which just contributes to the insect problem. We were very pleased this time. Please continue to keep this beautiful campground in good shape.

Clear signs for campground access and frequent patrolling of park attendants & park rangers (we asked for help with a wasp nest on the electric post and she was very helpful). Tree coverage is limited in the area, luckily this section had some coverage. Pros of this site: electricity, table, ample parking space, not a shared space/siteCons of this site: not as flat as would have liked, especially for tent and volleyball set up, poison ivy, distance from restroomsPlayground near the entrance is small but convenient if you have small children. Shelter access and benches available which were a plus. Bathrooms closest to site could use some upcoming, especially toilets. Wall hooks would be a great addition! Thank you for plenty of toilet paper. The other shower/restroom area had great parking space and mowed grass for walking access. On the womens side, 4/6 showers worked but not all drains so water was stagnant and traveled down to the restrooms. *facility phone number does not work

The campground was spacious, with trees and near to the lake. It was easy to find and not crowded when we went. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone.

I love going here because I feel safe taking my grandkids. We go fishing, swimming and walks. Feed the fish at the marina.

The spot was horribly set up.

I would like to know why there are community water spigots but you are able to use them. There are no handles.

Excellent weekend

The site was wonderful and level. Not all are that way so it is nice when you can find one that is. The mowing was done aftwr we got there which wasn't too big of a deal except there were spots that weren't done at all.

the bathrooms could use a good clean

Amazing campground, clean bathrooms. Did not use showers. Easy, pleasant check-in. Long-latitude leads you to one left turn too late.

The Park Staff was helpful and the campsite and restrooms were clean. Thank you, COL(R) Gordon Richardson

90 is a great corner spot for a view of the lake but is lacking shade. Its always best to stay here in the spring and fall.

The grass was very tall in this loop. This site is very unlevel. It took us a few angles to find one where we could feel comfortable. Ultimately we had to pull pretty far away from the power pole which lessened our campsite area. The campsite area faces the campers behind you and blocks your view of the water. There is no shade at this campsite. From inside our camper the views were amazing! You can definitely shoreline fish or put in your kayaks.

Nice spacious spot with an amazing lake view. However, this would not be a great spot on a hot summer day due to the lack of shade trees. There is no shade at all.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
