The site we had was nice and level. Some of the sites are not very level but over all are pretty good. I know they have put so many rocks around the banks of the lake to help with erosion, but it makes for difficult fishing if trying to fish from the banks. There are some places you can get to, however, they are so over ridden with weeds which allows for many bugs, tics, and undesirable creatures. The staff are very friendly. I planned on checking the shower facilities so i could update past reviews but ended up using the one in our camper. In the past, the showers have been so very nasty . It is a quiet lake and the area is kept pretty clean.

Very nice campground. Only thing on my wishlist would be if the weeds along the lake were cut so could get to the waters edge or at least some paths.

We had a great level site with unobstructed view of the lake. A beautiful way to wake up and watch the sun set. Fishing opportunities were ok, however, it is hard to find a good spot if you are fishing from the coast. The rocks make it difficult to to sit in a level position and the grass isn't cut far enough back to gain access easily. I did not check the shower house, however, In the past they have been so gross. We now have a shower in our camper to alleviate that issue. The restrooms are in really good conditions and kept clean. Overall, I love camping at slough creek!

The site was wonderful and level. Not all are that way so it is nice when you can find one that is. The mowing was done aftwr we got there which wasn't too big of a deal except there were spots that weren't done at all.

All summer it seems the firepits have been full of trash or full of ash. The firepits used to get cleaned out and if someone left trash they received a fine.
