The location is breathtaking. Spots are close together, but it wasn't crowded middle of October.

Beautiful location. Views, lake, campsites. The sites were nicely spaced. Bathrooms were clean and heated. Would love to stay here again.

A very nice spot next to the lake. Water was readily available and restrooms clean. Pretty quiet and the people there were friendly. There is a cafe nearby, get there early to get a seat or grab-and-go breakfast burritos with coffee are available.

Clean campground and bathrooms, nice location next to Silver Lake, but full of RV's, and hardly anybody there just camping in a tent. We were awoken by our neighbor's generator running at 7 AM, so be aware, this is mostly an RV campsite, and not many people are there in tents.

Camp 15 is the worst site. You pay double bc its a double site, but you are backed up to the road and the parking lot. There is a put toilet in the parking lot that wafts awful smells into the site. And your others views are the RVs in the spots around you. It was awful. I had a 3-night reservation and we left after 1 night and went to Gull Lake which was a world of difference. Nature, lake views, privacy and dogs free to roam about without any issues.

We were there in middle of September. The bathrooms were very tattered and the showers really couldnt put out hot water, floor drains slow with big puddles. There was someone there painting. This site gets used heavy and needs more mid season maintenance

We always have a wonderful time,

We chose our site (54) because it was the only one left, but I'd recommend going farther from the road to minimize road noise overnight. There were also a lot of RVs in this campground. We still had a wonderful experience, but tent-camping purists may want to look elsewhere. For us, this was a winner because of: (1) the proximity to June Lake Loop, Ansel Adams Wilderness (recommend Parker Lake hike -- very close by), Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes, (2) the pack outfitter across the street meant we could see horses throughout our visit, (3) deer were everywhere!, (4) we were able to SUP on Silver Lake, (5) bathrooms were clean; showers were hot and clean, (6) sites were spacious.

This is a nice campground that is very crowded with very different campsites. The sites farthest away from the lake are in the open with no privacy and the ones closest to the lake are great. We didn't use any of the facilities so I can't comment. There are potable water connections spaced throughout the campground and their locations are shown as a water glass symbol on the map. We had a great site (Site 24) which afforded us some privacy and access to the lake.

We had one of the coveted sites by the lake but during the first night the smoke from the fires on the west side of the Sierra settled in so bad to make things hazardous to even remain for our weeks stay. We left driving south we finally got some clear air in Independence so up we went to Greys meadow for the week.

This place is so beautiful and wellWorth the scenic drive. The first day we got here we were immediately greeted by the camp host by giving us a big smile. I also asked if it was okay to set up camp an hour early . He said yes and gave us directions to where i had reserved a campsite for a few days. Upon arrival, the camp site was clean and well maintained. Plus potable water was nearby. We set up camp and decided to unwind and relax for the remainder of the day. The second day a thunderstorm was brewing. And when the rain came we were treated with a lightning show. Call us crazy cuz we were hunkered down under a tarp, while everyone else was in their RVs. Yes it was cold and very wet, but it tested our mettle. On the third day, the sun emerged out of the clouds, a d thats when we went fishing and walked around the whole campground. I was greeted by deer along the way and by other campers as well. This place is really special and im so glad i had the opportunity to experience this lake. I would advise everyone, to at least come here and camp for a few days.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
