The camp sites and restrooms were clean. The showers could use more regular maintenance. I had to redress with a soapy body to move to another shower because the quarter machine wouldn't take my quarters. The Camp host was willing to work with the schedule to try to keep you in the camp site. Since I had to move, they gave me the closest to me.

If you are looking for a quiet camping location on the June Lake Loop, this is the place. Silver Lake Campground is a dry camp but has a few places to fill your fresh water tank. No dump station though. Has fire rings and a picnic table at each spot. Camp sites are mostly spacious. Some with trees but some without.

We had an awesome time at Silver Lake Campground! I've been going to Silver Lake my whole life and now my wife and I camped here for the first time together. The campground and facilities were clean, and the bear-proof containers were large enough to fit our large ice chest and other totes of food. There was a power outage that affected the whole June Lake Loop, and the camp hosts came around to provide information on the timeline for restoring power, which was appreciated. It does get windy through the Silver Lake area, so be sure to bring heavy duty stakes for your tents and pop-ups. The Silver Lake Resort has a store just down the street, so you can get essentials, fishing gear, and other stuff if needed. This is my favorite place in the world, and we will definitely be back!

We love camping at Silver Lake, the sites are spaced out nicely and always clean. The restrooms are clean and well supplied. The views are breathtaking, a yearly must do for our family.

Perfect scenery at the lake, light breeze, cool temps, bug issues though for Aug month especially at night

Great place to camp. South camp host was great he is a 5 star guy. Only complaint I have is I could not cancel my Saturday reservation. I wanted my stay to go from a Sunday night to a Saturday morning. So the site would be vacant that night. Bring it is almost impossible to get a site sure would be nice for somebody to get a night there at this beautiful place

Beautiful mountains surround this dessert-like campground. Few campsites have shade, therefore, bring a strong canopy that can withstand strong winds. The nearby lake shore is wonderful to fish from or take a dip in. Bring quarters for the campground showers. Across the street by the RV park, is a great camp store that has most everything you might need including bags of ice. Within the store is a wonderful cafe that serves breakfast and lunch closing at 2 p.m. daily. Close to the store is a fish & duck pond where you can get out of the summer sun. Enjoy!

Every thing went wellI noticed that the host worked hard to accommodate some other campers that did not have reservations This is commendable because of the centralized Reservation Process, while getting better, still doesnt allow much local leeway

beautiful campground with showers and the best views in June Lake.

Paddle boarding, horse riding, fishing, duck feeding, hiking, beautiful scenery.... couldn't ask for more!Watch out for the STINGING NETTLES especially in the south end of the campground (towards the boat ramp+dock)

Camp hosts do a great job keeping the place nice. Reservation system is awful though. No more 1 night reservations. Make it a 3 day minimum

Although difficult to get these reservations, it is worth the effort. We got a spot that we weren't thrilled with, but liked it a lot more than we expected to. I may be one of the weird ones that appreciate this, but the camp hosts were on it. Making sure bathrooms were well taken care of, checking dogs to make sure that they were on leashes, and ensuring the overall quality of the campground for the guests. Can't beat the view of Carson Peak and the surrounding waterfalls. It was an excellent experience.

Nature was doing her thing. We had very strong winds which kept us off the water and interfered with the fishing. Still a beautiful place.

There was a mix-up with the Hosts and our space for our one night stay was sold (accidentally)The Host at the time, Mark (I think), went out of his way to try find us a place, and eventually gave us a refund in cash. We found a camping spot for a few days at Twin Lakes out of Bridgeport, California (about an hour away).Oh, well, stuff happens.Our initial reaction to the Silver Lake Campground was that it was too crowded and too congested with tight camping spaces. We were not that disappointed to have to move on.

Be prepared for wind!!! We had site 15 which was excellent. The day we arrived 2 deer were just hanging out in our campsite. We had a double spot and even though we were right against the boat ramp, I feel like we had one of the best sites at the campground. Really big, lots of space and no close neighbors. The weather was perfect. Our 3 days there were incredible spent hiking, paddle boarding and visiting local attractions. Like all camping trips, just come prepared. One night the wind was crazy. A few times I thought our tent was going to take off. The other 3 nights we had a little wind, in the late afternoon, but as soon as the sun went down, it calmed down. Second thing to prepare for is mosquitos. Bring whatever works for you. We have camped in the mammoth area for years and honestly this site was one of our favorite. Some notable things... Most campers were super quite at night, camping host were really never to be seen (not that it was a bad thing, bring quarters for showers, only one set of 4 showers for entire campground and bring warm stuff for late evenings. Went under 40 degrees at night.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
