clean restrooms with toilet paper and soap. Went on July 25 and there were no mosquitoes. Wood sold $10 at the campground host, 3 host locations for the campground which is nice. To drive to the lake is $10 cash only but you can just walk it from the campground, go early as lake gets packed after 11am.

pretty good site overall. It is sunny most of the time so grab some shade.

I always enjoy it here, kept clean and great views of June lake. Some spots have limited shade just depends on what you get.

Hello,My family and I have been visiting Oh Ridge for over 40 years now. Its a yearly tradition that we look forward to every year. I was however saddened this year to see dirt bikes that are not street legal cutting through nature sections and cruising the loops of the camp ground. Total disregard for the beauty of this place. I remember 10 years ago there were signs that did not allow motorcycles that were not street legal allowed in the camp ground. We also saw many UTVs driving around as well. Frustrating to see this camp ground turn into an OHV area.

Nicely maintained campground, spots all have fire pit, picnic table and grill. Nice walk to the beach. Staff was very nice.

Lovely area! Campground sites are close and other campers tend to cut through. Might suggest more designated trails to cut through from circle of campers to other circles. Maybe have only big huge camper vans in one area...

Great spacious camp site. Easy walk to the lake. Great camp hosts.

Site 146 was great! Large site with plenty of room for trailer and options to set up tents. Lots of deer in the evening walking through. Had a coyote one night. No bear activity. Very minimal shade and recommend a pop up or something for shade. It gets HOT in July! Very easy to walk to the lake to cool off. Excellent star gazing! No bugs. Close to bathrooms and they were pretty clean. Close to water and trash.

Campground is just above the best mountain beach for little kids. Restrooms were clean. We were only there for one night and packed up first thing then biked down to the beach, so the lack of shade wasnt an issue. If staying multiple nights, would get another site. Though this one does have lake views.

Such a beautiful place to stay with super helpful staff.

This is our fifth year at Oh Ridge. We adore the town of June Lake and have always loved Oh Ridge. Unfortunately this year wasnt as enjoyable as years past. The general store/showers/basketball hoops attached to the campgrounds are still stuck in probate so they once again are not open. I would not stay here again until this issue is resolved and they reopen. Additionally they removed the cement blocks with eyeholes on the beach that were needed to secure pop-ups when afternoon gusts would inevitably kick up. They also removed the picnic tables that used to be close to shore, and this is the second summer they have charged $10 to park. Not worth it anymore. Last, and this one is applicable perhaps to just rabbit loop where we have stayed for 5 years - the bathrooms this time around were not kept very clean. Wads of TP on the floor, left in the sink, etc. It seems like the rangers missed quite a few of their cleaning rounds during the 7 days we were there this year. Overall, we love this campground, and with a few small changes we will gladly stay there for years to come!

Sandi the camp host (both of them) were awesome. Been camping for years and they are by far the best communicators and hosts. Thank you

Cramped site but excellent lake views. Could not (politely) have a fire because the firepit is very close to and upwind from the next site.The pumice dust in this site is miserable and it wasn't even very windy! I'm still cleaning all our gear!

Loved the views from our campsite and the easy access via the walking path to the beach below. Facilities were a little farther than I anticipated and while the toilets flush you still need to bring your own soap to wash your hands. Our campsite fire pit was really, really close to our neighbors. It was very windy in the evening, but after a hot day we didnt mind. Staff was super gracious at the front gate checking us in. Definitely would stay here again for the location, but not at the same site number.

Site was maintained, restrooms clean, but the site was overrun by Chipmunks and ground squirrels. The Chipmunks got into our tent, garbage, and bear box. We had to be on constant alert.

We made a reservation the day before. Edison had turned off the water, saying it would be back on by 6:00pm. We were never told this at check in, never given the chance to cancel, or go find water, and the water never came on. I think it was unprofessional to not tell people the whole story. We rationed what little water we had. Never again.

The whole time we were at our site, the water was shut off, the bathrooms were locked. And now we can't go to the lake without paying to drive down. And without the other campground being open, we can't get showers or ice

We had a lovely time at Oh Ridge Campground. The camp hosts were great, friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, though dated, were kept clean. The other campers were super nice and respectful, so everyone could have a good time. The location is terrific, allowing easy access to multiple local lakes, great hikes and the town of June Lake. We had a great time; our first to the area. I would definitely consider coming back to the area and camping at Oh Ridge

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
