Had a great time at this campsite. Although it was quite windy, we were still able to enjoy time outside and make a fire. You are greeted at the enterance where you check in, and from then all all teh staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. We had the site directly next to the camp host in Squirrel loop, but it still felt like we had a little bit of privacy from them. You couldnt see June lake from our site, but some of the sites had a view of the lake. You have the option of driving down to the June lake beach that was about a 2 minute drive, but you would have to pay $10 to park. Or, you could walk down to the beach along the path (about 5 minutes from our site) and it was free! We were able to rent kayaks straight from the beach, that was $50 for 2 hours for the tandem kayak. They also offered paddle boards but Im not sure the rates on those. From the beach it was a very gradual walk into the water, did not drop off quickly at all and would be good for kids. The water temp was 71 (in July), but there were many people in the water swimming and floating. The lake itself isnt too big, as we were able to paddle around the whole thing in our 2 hours, but there are some motor/ pontoon boats on the lake. The drive into town isnt too bad, and they had a general store with anything you could need, a brewery and a little cafe. Overall, I was very impressed with the campground and would stay here again!

Stayed here for two nights, at 2 separate campsites in the same loop. Check in was quick and easy. Campground was fairly busy for mid-week, but still had a handful of sites available last minute. Clean and quiet, located along the outskirts of June Lake which made for a nice pit stop before hunkering down for the night.

Campground has incredible views to the lake and mountains. Conveniently located close to the road and easy access to the beach. Host is a very friendly gentleman. It was an amazing experience.

We began Monday night with site #80, and then moved to site #39 for Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and then moved to site #162 for Thursday and Friday nights. Spent lots of time packing, unpacking, and packing.

The campground was well maintained. Our campground hosts, Jack & Peggy were excellent. Very friendly & knowledge of the area. Except for the snow & cold (which was out of anyone's control) we really enjoyed our visit & will return

Facilities were very clean and maintained well. Flush toilets and lots of fresh water spouts throughout the site. We went in early May and the wind was pretty brutal. Unable to have campfires during our stay, unfortunate, but it happens. Beach is great, the "further" beach has tables right up to the water! The last night of our stay they lost power and had to lock the bathroom doors. We had an RV so not a huge deal though. Small convenience store right outside entrance is good for last-last minute needs.
