The campground was very clean and well maintained. The remote location up on the mountain was perfect for our camping weekend!

Nice and clean smaller, secluded CG with some nearby trails. Saw a big elk on a trail and in the CG near our site. Clean bathrooms. Some of the tent pads are raised on sides due to being on a slope.

Quiet and beautiful.

Someone ran their generator several hours in fact most of the day. I can see running a generator two hours in the morning or two hours in the evening but all day? I had to leave the campground and go find quiet places on my hikes because there was no quiet in the campground. I wish people were more considerate of others. I was disappointed.

Excellent campground, provided great cool weather in the summer. Camp hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were also regularly cleaned by staff which was great to see.

I stayed 3 nights with my school-aged children. The campground was very well maintained and clean, and the drive to get there was beautiful. We will be back!

This is a very nice campground with basic amenities. The campsites are spaced apart to allow some privacy. Most campsites are up or down a hill to get to your vehicle. The bathrooms are cleaned frequently. There are no lights in the bathrooms so a flashlight is needed after dark.

Balsam Mountain campground is a great place to come to get away from the summer heat. It has well kept campsites and friendly hosts.

We spent a night recently at Balsam Mountain Campground. Even though it rained nearly 100% of the time and we were in hammocks, it was an excellent night. I'm usually there every year for several days and will always come back!

We always love this campground in the summertime! Its so wonderful to beat the heat! The sites are closer together and some do not have much privacy. Worth it for a fun, cool summer camping experience though.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
