Someone ran their generator several hours in fact most of the day. I can see running a generator two hours in the morning or two hours in the evening but all day? I had to leave the campground and go find quiet places on my hikes because there was no quiet in the campground. I wish people were more considerate of others. I was disappointed.

Beautiful campsites with a decent amount of privacy, most were bordered with wildflowers! The camp host was so kind and helpful. The bathrooms were the cleanest campsite bathrooms I've ever experienced, which was a huge relief to us camping with a newly potty trained toddler. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend and will definitely be back!

Great camping for those of us who like to feel remote. Small campground but surprisingly private for the tight quarters on the road for those of us in rvs. Pay attention to the lengths for each site. Don't plan on being longer. Hosts were nice as usual in NPS campgrounds. Saw elk on the drive in. Bears had been reported according to the camp hosts. Make sure to walk up to the picnic area just to see the tables made by the CCC workers and imagine what the area look liked so many years ago. Likely a 360 degree view then but now in tree cover. Love the altitude of the campground. will be back for respite during the hot summers of SC .

Beautiful scenic views and nice trails in the area. Showers would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

This was our second time returning to this campground, and we had a great experience. The whole campground is impeccably clean, including the bathrooms, and I love how secluded it is with very little light pollution. I look forward to returning again someday.

Great place to camp. We had a tent space and had no issues while there. The bathrooms were always clean. Only downside not limited to this specific campsite was that pets were not allowed on the trails and that was not known beforehand as we brought our dog. Policy should be something like pets allowed on trails at owners own risk.
