This is a beautiful and enjoyable campground. The only issue is that the sites are super close. If you are looking for privacy, this is not your spot.

The campground hosts, Ed and his wife (we didn't catch her name), were so kind and knowledgeable about the history of the area. They shared a few stories with us that we would not have known otherwise. The campground was quiet and the sites were well maintained.

Love the campsite, it was a beautiful fall night. The campground host seemed to be a bit bitter as we were greeted with a pretty sour greeting. We arrived early evening and there were plenty of spaces, as indicated on the app. .. but we were greeted with a negative response and a bunch of negativity. Other than that we love this campground.

Awesome place to camp. the camp host was very nice and briefed us on things you should or shouldnt do (dont leave food outside..). the bathroom has running water and a motion activated solar light. no electricity. tent sites are somewhat close, but that didnt bother us primarily because our neighbor was in a RV.

no firewood available at the site, so buy from Cherokee or another nearby town.

This is mostly a campground for tents and hammocks. We love the campground and go every chance we get. However some of the sites are close to each other. The reserved site next to us came in at 3 in the morning and had to open the box their tent came in. If you’re a first time camper practice setting up your tent and at least get to your site before dark. We have woken up in our tent at campgrounds and have seen campers that came in over night and we never heard or saw them.
