Too crowded for my wife and I. Lots of younger adults that were laughing and talking loudly. Shining flashlights all over the campground. Many people don't know how to wear their headlamps, pointing them straight out at people's faces. Very irritating. Was hoping it would be more relaxing. Glad we only stayed one night, we slept in the car, with our platform bed and mattress, despite the nice weather. I just didn't want to hear the noise and get lights flashing our tent. Tht view from Jackson Lake were great. The staff was great.

Picturesque campsite on the lake with a view of the Grand Tenton mountains. The sites themselves are nice enough, some very cold and muddy for October but I'm sure they would be good for a summer camp rather than fall.

Some campsites are very close to each other. If you're camping with others, this is great. Find a site that is more secluded if not. Campsite map is pretty good at revealing the proximity.

Beautiful campground, a lot of the driveways are sloped. Important to know if you have an rv. Our stay included lots of rain. Unfortunately, all the rain from uphill ran like a river through our site and was flooding our site. Basically, there is no ditches or drainage. This was a drawback. We had a steep trail behind our site that led to the beach. The bathrooms were clean and have flushing toilets and running water in the sink. There is also a dish station. At the entrance to the campground there are showers and a laundromat. There is also a nearby lodge with restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop. I have ATT and I had some cell coverage.

We love staying at Signal Mountain- the bathrooms are well maintained and theres nothing better than hot showers on site. We even dried our rain soaked coats in the laundromat. Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely site and the fact that campfires were allowed is an extra bonus. In my opinion, this campsite is so much better than Colter Bay.

Jackson lake gorgeous beautiful weather. only one person complained that we met.. he is from Jackson hole. he said 'no tourists should be allowed in September !" there were about 5 people at marina. he didnt appreciate the concept of sharing the national park. He also explained that Idaho owned the top 30 feet of the lake. im glad Idaho shares lake Jackson.

We usually stay ay Colter Bay or Gros Ventre campgrounds. Signal Mountain has a good location. I wish more sites had water views. By walking a ways behind our site we could get to the water views however. Bathroom was further than I prefer. Positives are immediate presence of restaurants with coffee and or meals. Our site was level enough for a medium sized tent. Sites are very wooded so we had a felling of privacy.

I was at Signal for only the one night and I checked in after 5 p.m. and was out by 9:14a.m. the next morning. I never had the opportunity to interact with camp personnel or host but that is totally understandable so my review is more historical. My one night stay was what I needed & it was good. I'm a tent person & do not need electricity to camp. My preferred campground is Jenny Lake for the quiet peace of tent camping only, & location & access to the Jenny Lake store, trails, ferry, ranger station, but no showers or laundry. Signal Mountain is my next preferred, due to it's close proximity to Jenny Lake, String Lake, & multiple trailheads, showers & laundry & Signal Mountain Lodge. 3rd in progression of preferred campgrounds would be Coulter Bay. Coulter Bay is far north on Lake Jackson and has a number of amenities that Signal does not have. A general store, a Ranger Station, and a visitor center, and boat launches for those wanting that experience. Gross Ventre is the final campground but not one I have ever stayed at, and with Blacktail Butte between the campground and the Tetons, there is no view of the Tetons (so I believe) not a place I would want to stay. There is a fifth and sixth campground to the far north and outside of the park called Headwaters Campground @Flagg Ranch and the smaller Sheffield Campground USFS. The advantages of these locations would be the close proximity to the Grassy Lake Trailhead for access to the 3 Northern Wilderness Canyons; Berry, Owl and Webb Canyons. My only real issue with the National Park Campgrounds in general is the current advanced reservation system. I understand why they went to the early online reservations but it does not take into consideration individuals and families who cannot plan that far in advance due to many hindering factors. I do believe the reservation system should have a hold on a percentage of sites for later reservations and some for first come first serve the day of or the day before

Be aware that there is no campground host at this sight. If you have noisy neighbors you have to call the lodge. It did not seem like a friendly place and showers are $5 for five minutes. The place is very overpriced for what you get. The baristas at the coffee shop were the exception- very friendly.

This was our seventh campsite in 9 days. It also was our favorite. Shore access, and breathtaking views. The host or information person was super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come here from Portland again!

This site is right by the bear proof trash cans so there is some noise as humans struggle to open it, lol. Fairly level and close to the entrance if you want to walk to the lodge, gas station, restaurant, etc. Electric functioned well. Not the most scenic spot if that matters to you. Signal mountain is really close to Jenny lake and String lake. NO cell signal for TMobile users except at the lodge.

Enjoyed the private feel the campsites have with all the trees. Great place to stay and restaurant is great!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
