Nice spots available. With store, restaurant, showers, and proximity to the water/views, this was a great place to stay. Bathrooms need a coat of paint but function fine. Wish a complementary shower came with your registration, like some in Yellowstone.

Campground is top notch, close to bathroom. Ample space for motorhome and tow vehicle. Picnic table and fire ring shaded. Semi level pad, employees were super friendly. Only negative was upon entering this loop/site your pull though puts the door opening towards the road. So it feels less than private. Wasn't an issue but something to think of if you have small children or pets.

Wonderful site, close to bathroom. Plenty of shade and picnic table and bear box. Door opens towards woods. Staff was excellent, store and facilities are top notch. We enjoyed the trail to lake. And we saw a momma and baby bear in campground.

There are loops that can use generators, so we specifically booked one that couldnt. However, the loops are so close together so we could hear generators running 6am-10pm. Not very relaxing!

One if my favorite places in the country - both the national park and the campground. Weve camped here several times - appreciate the camp store, the showers, the VIEWS and the very good meal we had in the little restaurant. Wonderful staff, very friendly.

Campground was full but still offered some privacy .

Fantastic campground experience. Loop A is quiet and private for a NP. Nice amenities as well.

The campsite was small and narrow, but the bathroom facilities were clean. The pay showers were very clean with good hot water. Laundromat was a bit chaotic- some machines didn't work with the quarters, some you had to pay by credit card at front desk- quite confusing. Beautiful park, but crowded even in mid September.

This is one of our favorite parks, but this visit was just a one nighter when passing through. Nice campground, volunteers, staff and facilities.

Great spot! Bathrooms are in good shape with water fill station. Private but not too remote!

Nice site and along with that temperatures and weather cooperated for the most part.

This site was perfect! The tree coverage gave some privacy, and the tent pad made for a nice flat spot to set up for the night. Conveniently close to a bathroom, but not too close to be bothered by sounds of other people using it. Nice picnic area and fire pit.

Colter Bay was a great place to stay! The location was good and it was an easy walk to the lake. The village area has a grocery store, laundromat, restaurant, showers, etc. The facilities are definitely dated and just feel tired, but everything was in good working condition and we loved our stay there!
@SusanH8664991 · Camped on Sep 6, 2025 at Campsite #271
Crowded campground, small sites. Clean restroom. Too far from lake to even see the lake; disappointing. We were at the end of Loop M and had assumed we would have a lake view.

Super clean and very easy to check in. The grocery store has literally everything you could need or may have forgotten. Will be staying here again next year!

Great campsite in general, very large and good facilities. Free showers. Tent only site much better to avoid RVs and their generators (although they did stop at 8pm curfew)

Camping spots arent too close together! Very shaded and comfortable. Restrooms could have used some cleaning but other than that was a good place to stay.
@TanmoyR0EC204F · Camped on Sep 5, 2025 at Campsite #178
Nice settings in the trees with close access to village store for food and other essentials. No generators in the loop was a plus.
@RossCBD090DE61 · Camped on Sep 5, 2025 at Campsite #156
Great wooded sites. Spectacular scenery! Friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean. I wish the showers didnt cost $5. The loops made it easy to find our site. Changed sites midway through, and that was easy and seamless.

Great campground! The previous campers left a lot of garbage, which is a shame, so we spent some time picking up all the pieces we found to leave the space cleaner for the next campers.

Very central location and a good layout with sites not too close to each other

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
