A nice area in the Tetons and appreciate a place to camp. The bathrooms were not clean and overall need updating. I would not keep me from going to this campground. But compared to other state and national campgrounds it is about a 4 out of 10.

It is a nice place for camping overall. It's pretty close to the Jackson Lake with only a five-minute walk on a small trail. But the facility is a little bit old. The restroom is not that clean as well compared to those in yellow stone, especially I paid more for one-night stay here. I actually expected to have a better experience.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Colter Bay. It was a welcome surprise to be a five minute walk away from the gorgeous lake! The site was extremely unlevel however, so be prepared for that. Spots are a little tight but we made it work with our fifth wheel. Love the picnic area the site had. Front gate workers were very nice and informative! Would definitely return.

This campground feels very intimate and secluded despite its capacity. The spot has several trees to provide some privacy and a great area for tents. There is a bear box at each site, a solid picnic table and nice fire ring for campfires. There is plenty of room to pull through the site. Our travel trailer and vehicle set up was around 45 feet and it was definitely a generously-sized site. This site backs up to the lake and there are several trails in all the loops that lead right down to it. We would definitely stay here again.
