We love GTNP! & have camped there many times. I understand that snow lingers there well through May. We brought up our 19 foot airstream to ensure a cozy camping experience for our family. When we arrived our site wasn't cleared enough for the camper to fit. Snowbanks hung into the already small area for our camper to park. It looks like gravel was tossed town to help with mud, and someone must have tried some snow removal? Just not enough to make room for us to actually park. On top of that the fire pit was a swimming pool... the snow was removed from the tent site, but not from preventing a swimming pool in the fire pit area? hard to sell camping on a 2 & 4 year old on snowy camping without the ability to at least have an evening campfire. So so so disappointed. We left. So lucky we live close enough to enjoy the outdoors without such poor conditions. They state "there might be snow on your picnic table"... but they should warn; don't expect to use our fire pits & bring big shovels to clear your own parking spot. Don't just expect snow, expect to take care of it yourself.

Campers need to stay at the Tetons more than 1 night and really enjoy this beautiful national park. Nathan, the campground manager, is a rock star. He went beyond when we hit a snafu with our camping spot. We can't thank him enough for making our week a great stay. The Tetons are breathtaking! We will come back to do more kayaking in the lakes.

A great place to camp in the Grand Tetons, the spaces for the travel trailer were tight but with some maneuverability it can go in (as long as its not super long) the place is quiet and well kept and the staff were friendly and drove around their carts in checking the area in case anyone needed assistance.. overall great place to spend a couple of nights

Not sure how crowded it is in the summer, but in October it was wonderful. Not a lot of people. Clean and located right on Jackson lake with spectacular views of the Tetons. Seems like each site has its own little trail to the bathroom. We had a 22 foot TT and it was a bit tight, but plenty of room behind us to enjoy a fire. Perfectly located at the top of the 42 mile loop. We went clockwise one day and counter clockwise the next. The best part is it’s located just a few miles from oxbow bend. I could sit there all day and watch the wildlife.
