everything on the campground was great! drive there was super bumpy though! came with a campervan and a 10 min drive turned into 30 min because the gravel road was just so uneven. we had some signal which was good!

This is a beautiful and quiet campground where there is a lot of space between campers. We appreciated having electric and everything seemed well kept. The road in to the campground was washboard gravel, and we had to go very slowly, so I hope that it gets leveled out. We were a bit sad that toxic algae bloom was happening in the lake, so we didn't kayak, but we enjoyed the view and walks along the lake. A great experience overall.

Very clean campground very quite at night and the bathrooms were very clean

Nice campground, very quiet but horrible road to get to it. If they fix the road it would be one of the best places to camp.

As in other comments, the road was a washboard... very rough. Negotiating room for backing up trailer was null, between hitting trees on either side of the tight space and the people across from the site. It was too difficult and not worth the effort. The sites were very close together as well. We left and went to a more accommodating campground.

It was good spacing but when we got there for 2 days the dumpster was completely full. The c loop only had 1 working vault toilet that was overfull the whole time. When opening the lid flys and misquotes flew out of the vault like crazy( counted 11 flys and 16 misquotes at one time) I have never had such a bad time with mosquitoes. I had 3 different types of repellents and none work. The lake was unusable because of green algae.

Decent campsite, good privacy and plenty of trees. Well kept for the most part. The low review comes due to the fact the water at the lake is not swimmable because of an algae growth. Toilets are non flush toilets. This is an active bear area, sounded like someones campsite nearby had one because there was a lot of banging at around 1AM trying to scare it away. I could hear it around our site huffing and puffing but it never got to close.

This was a great camping spot! Mary was very helpful when I stopped by with questions. The road in to the site was really bumpy it was one long washboard from start to end but other than that it was a great stay. The campsite had electric hookups and was close to the lake.

The good - Campground is well kept and maintained. Sites are nicely spaced and the campground is very close to the lake. We camped with several other families and we all had a great time.The bad - The last few miles into the campground are on a dirt road that is so wash-boarded we could only manage about 4-5 mph. The road shook our 5th wheel so badly that it knocked the bearing buddies off our our wheels. Seriously, if you have a nice RV you might want to consider another campground or be prepared to crawl down the road to avoid damage.Also be prepared to do battle with mosquitos, especially late in the camping season. We nearly lost a small child to a big one (just kidding) but fair warning, they are pretty bad.

Campsite was clean and well taken care of. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled great for an outhouse.

I want to preface my comments about our stay. That I have camped here in loop B for the last 10 years. We were in loop B during our most recent stay. The outhouse in the loop was closed for 2 days; leaving one outhouse for the loop. I saw the camp host two nights and one morning and was received with a scowl and no hello back. The hosts literally did a lap and were gone. The day we left there was what I think may have been a host as well power washing tables, but no hello or introductions either.

The road in was a nightmare to say the least. We stayed here before but because of the road would not go back. Severe wash board no matter how slow you go. The trailer was shook up clock off the wall. Table moved.

I think the fire ring is too high in site C-26

Great location to west entrance of Yellowstone. Also, right on Hebgen Lake. The campground was small with large, spread-out sites, but limited privacy due to lack of ground cover vegetation. Overall, a great choice if you are visiting Yellowstone.

I loved this site. Easy to get into and spread out. The kids ha as a blast playing.

The campground was organized and quiet with literally the cleanest hole in the ground bathrooms weve ever experienced. It was our second time staying here and we will probably return again. Its far enough away from town to escape the hustle, but close enough for a quick, convenient drive in. Just a heads up though, we stayed in mid July and the mosquitos were rampant, prepare accordingly.

The bathrooms could have been cleaner.

Excellent campsite, walking distance to lake front, fairly clean bathrooms, 15ish minutes from West Yellowstone. Campsites were spacious and not to close to each other. Very washboard road in but other than that a great place, would definitely go back.

Perfect place to camp

The road to the campsite was very bumpy and had lots of washboards. The camp site had lots of stumps that needed to be removed. Stumps were in the way for parking the trailer, vehicle and walking around.

Loop D site was very nice, quiet and a lot of room between the other sites. Good fairly flat place for a tent.

Campground is very nice and Hebgen Lake is beautiful. Sadly, without water or sewer at site and no shower house or dump station available could be problematic for extended stays. Fortunately there is a nearby (about 10 miles) campground that provides dump services for a small fee. Road into campground is terrible! 2 miles of washboard nearly broke our camper. No advisory about the road is provided. Camp hosts were very attentive during our stay. A few improvements could make it 5 star.

Loved the host and her son! Loved the sites. Easy walk to the beach. Level areas. Nice fire pits. Bathrooms are clean and kept up. Will be back!

The access road was quite washboard and there was a large puddle at the head end of our campsite but everything else was just fine.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
