It was a great spot with electrical hook ups. It was a quiet place and close enough to Yellowstone National Park to enjoy all the beauty there. The only thng that was missing is an RV dump. The one they have you use is in town and costs $20 to dump. On the way out of this campground you might want to travel over to earthquake lake. Remember to stop by the ghost town to see it first before earthquake lake visitor center.

The 2 mile dirt road used to access the campground is very rough and deeply washboarded.

Lots of mosquitoes unfortunately but at lease the lake was beautiful. Easy access to it from our site. The road is still very bumpy getting there . Lots of dust on the road in the campground, they did pour gravel on our loop to get rid of the bumps , I guess ..

Camped in mid-Sept, didn’t have any issues with bugs. Camp hosts were friendly and kept the sites very clean and tidy by raking and cleaning the picnic tables. Multiple water spigots in each loop, and the vault toilets were impressively clean and free of odors or flies. Perhaps the cleanest I’ve ever encountered. The hosts also keep a board posted of how many FF sites are available at the moment. Very good cell reception for Verizon.

As far as campgrounds go, this one is excellent. The hosts are attentive if you need them, the spots are clean, having a power hook-up is great, and the area is beautiful. We have stayed here twice. Once in 2018, and once in 2020, and will do so again.
