There was no water, thousands of mosquitos , the dirt road was washerboard and filled with potholes. THE PICNIC TABLE WAS SO DIRTY WITH OIL STAINS AND DIRT, we couldn't use it. Even with bug spray we were eaten alive with thirty bites each and only were outside long enough to set up a tent. For $36 I expected a lot more.

No issues other than the most mosquitoes Ive ever seen at one time. Bug spray and layers are a must in July

When we arrived, someone was already set up in our site even though the reservation was clearly marked for me. Since the host was off duty, there was nothing I could do.

While the campsites were nice and spacious and the restrooms clean, the lake has toxic algae and we were not notified and there were no signs warning us of this and our children broke out in painful, itchy hives and have red bumps days later. We spoke with the host warning him of the problem and he said they were aware and had called the forest service to have them come test the water. They should absolutely be warning people when they check in and posting signs of the health hazard.
