Campground is very clean and access is decent. Trees need to be trimmed for taller campers. The commercial drop and go camper companies are taking up spaces and sharing electric with non electric sites. Kinda disappointed they are allowing that. They are dragging electrical cords across the road to power other campers.

Nice campsites. Enough shade to keep it comfortable but still room to move. Privies were well maintained. Great boat launch facilities. Great boat cleaning station. Nice beach for playing.

There is one water point to fill up your freshwater tank and it is inconvenient and blocks the one-way traffic.

Best camping spot near West Yellowstone. Well run.

What a lovely spot on the lake. The sites are varied (some spacious and some close together) we reserved site 02 but were moved to site 20 and we were so glad! View of the lake, nice neighbors, close to the restroom and lots of space to put out tent. The camp host Ruby was warm and friendly. The restrooms were clean. I recommend this campsite but do your best to be on the water for an optimal experience.

For the past few years, our family has booked a trip here in June. We absolutely love it here! We have stayed in various sites in the campground and this time we booked both sites #25 and #26 as we are a sizeable group. It worked great! These two are side by side and works better as a mini group site rather than two individuals in my opinion. The camping, hiking, fishing, and kayaking is as good as it gets. There's a boat launch as well for those who have a boat. Yellowstone national Park is easily accessed 10 miles down the road through the town of West Yellowstone with plenty of shopping. We had a great stay!

I paid for a site with power but it was not working. I spent a full day trying to find a problem with my Rv which I didnt. One leg of power was missing at the plug in pedestal. No one around to fix the problem during my stay. I would like a refund!

Nice area. Great place to stay if exploring Yellowstone. Enjoyed the lake, especially in the mornings. The camp host was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a site with electricity, which was convenient. Only downside was some campers let their dogs stay off leash. As we were walking our dog on leash, a few dogs ran at our dog or came by and visited our campsite.

Beautiful campground! We had such a great spot overlooking the lake! And it was so peaceful and quiet. Its also nice and close to Yellowstone so you can enjoy the park without all the traffic and less people around when youre hanging out at the site

No Fuss , just the way I like it. Bathroom was so much cleaner than those in the parks. I was surprised and would absolutely go back.

Ruby and Jack went out of their way to make our stay effortless and enjoyable. Can't say enough about their kindness. The place was kept immaculate.

Site 16 was right on the water, big spot, and had lots of space - hands down one of the best sites in the campground! This campground and lake is a hidden gem and are so happy we spent a week here. The mosquitos were really bad and it was unbearable to be outside after 6:30/7pm, so make sure you bring bug spray!
@LauraF3344985 · Camped on Aug 17, 2024 at Campsite #12
So lovely to be right on the lake and a convenient distance from paved roads while still feeling secluded.
@AllenM9407338 · Camped on Jul 23, 2024 at Campsite #25
The camp hosts were awesome. They let us exchange site 25 for an open spot next to the lake. Site 25 has very little shade and is right next to toe boat trailer parking lot. Mosquitos and horse flys were bad so bring repellent. The lake and weather were fantastic.

Cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen! The campground was clean and quiet. However, the mosquitos and biting flies were absurd. Our family went through one can of OFF our first night. Not even campfire smoke could keep them away. We paddle boarded on the lake to watch the sunset, and my son's back looked like he had chicken pox the next day. We camp frequently and know insects are part of being outdoors, but the infestation we encountered at Lonesomehurst will ensure we never go back!

Really nice campground overlooking the lake. Was glad there was wood to purchase for our fire (bring $10 cash for a bundle). Bathrooms were clean. Only complaint is that the mosquitos were horrendous! We were literally swarmed right when we stepped out of our car. We went back into town for bug spray, otherwise it would have been intolerable.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
