Fantastic campground - extremely clean, and enough space to feel like it's "our" site. There were bear warnings, but we never saw bears, only very curious deer. I thought we reserved early enough to miss the mosquitos - early July has SO MANY MOSQUITOS!! So if we came back, I'd try for early June. Also we didn't love that the lake has leaches, but that is nature. For all the warnings about the road into the campground, while it is bumpy, it's worse if you go slow - so go the speed limit and you'll be fine.

Booked C11- power did not work- only one leg of power coming in. Maintenance guy said they had been having trouble with it. They moved us to another site- that afternoon someone else was in that site! Apparently they did not plan to fix it.Road to the park is REALLY BAD!!Lots of trees at the front of the sites making it difficult to back inThe site measurements are generous so be careful

Great campground that is close to a lot of great adventures. We love to go to Hebgen Lake with kayaks, go into Yellowstone and explore, visit the Playmill. I also like coming to this campground because one of the loops has electricity. I had a little bit of trouble with it this trip or I would give an excellent rating.

Very convenient location with easy access to Yellowstone and Big Sky areas. Enjoyed the lake and the location being far from the main road. Meant it was secluded and quiet. Some campsites are close together. Bathrooms and campsites were immaculately kept. Would definitely stay here again!

This campground is wonderful! I stayed here for 2 weeks in a bunch of different spots and it's a clean, well organized campground. The 2 couples that are campground hosts are wonderful! Thanks for a great stay!

There truly needs to be something done about the dirt roads. We are all about rustic camping and understand that we aren’t going to a sterile environment but the type of dirt on the roads prevents you from enjoying the outdoors any at all… you can’t really even see very far in front of you from the dust. It’s too great of a campground to allow it to be in this shape. There also needs to be an on-site dump…. Sewer isn’t needed at each site or even at each circle, but a dump would be very beneficial… even if there was a $5 charge to dump…. That’s better than unhooking, taking a camper 10 miles into town, and then paying $20 to dump. The site hosts are fabulous!!!
