Overall the campground is good but Site 50 is not good. No trees, water flowing through the site. No flat ground to hook a tent.

This campsite is new to us and we couldnt be happier with our experience. Well maintained areas as well as the restrooms. Staff is friendly. The campsite isnt far from town or locals in case you run out of firewood or need something extra from the store.

We had neighbors to our campsite that had a fight was heavy drinking and using drugs Park rangers did address the issue however some of the neighbors were able to stay Once the fight was over It was calm and we enjoyed the rest of our trip

Acorn Campground is a peaceful, well-maintained spot thats great for a quiet getaway. The sites are nicely spaced, the area feels relaxing, and the campground is easy to enjoy. The hosts were great, checked in daily, and made sure each site was perfect. Definitely a solid place to camp and unwind.

I camp here fairly often. I love the lake. The water access is well maintained. Campgrounds are also well maintained. Campers and Rangers have always been friendly and respectful in all the times Ive been here. Campsites are not the largest, but Id say Northern California standard size.. but also doesnt feel like your neighbor is right on you either. The reservation process is easy and straight forward.

The restrooms and showers are in desperate need of a good deep cleaning!

Campground was clean, staff were friendly. There were deer, rabbits, lizards, vultures, hawks, and we even saw an eagle down at the lake. Definitely coming back.

Very nice campsite, It is adjacent to site 21's tent area. Bathroom shower could use a better water stream. Excellent place to camp, very friendly park rangers.

The lake was nice to be by, a lot of bird watching! Some sites were on a steep incline but we had site 57 which was mainly flat, so easy to set up tent. Only critique is the campsites were fairly close to each other so not a lot of privacy and a lot of noise.

Nice campground with lot of room, the showers were free, however they had very low pressure but they were still warm. There is an island of geese in the middle of the lake and they are very loud almost all day, but eventually your mind will drown them out.

First pulled in and there was someone setting up in our spot. After talking to them and they didnt even have a spot in the camp they packed up and left.Once we started setting up the people in the spot next to us set up right behind us near our fire pit. It was definitely a different experience there this time!

Always a great time at Acorn camp! Site 14 great for combining with neighboring site for large groups and easy short walk to the lake.

Very clean site. Nice fire pits with grills over them which I used to put my cast iron on. Tons of birds all day long. It's not mountain camping but it was cool to just be somewhere else. Lake was nothing special but looked good for boating and maybe fishing. The only people I talked to there were homeless but seemed ok. They just move from site to site. Alot of dogs.

Campers with garbage and stuff scattered all over, and running loud generators from 8 am to 10 pm. No enforcement of rules. What happened?

Beautiful campground. But the bathroom near my site (41) was pretty gross.

Campsite is on a slight angle and the lantern hook was positioned more at an inconvenient angle/location relative to the table and fire pit. All lantern hooks locations/angles seem to be random at each site. Clean bathrooms, but it doesnt come with soap/towels so make sure to bring your own! Bathroom is well lit with automatic lights at night, though one of the stall doors of the womens bathroom is broken. Has showers. Rangers are active at the campground even during the winter. Has dumpsters at the campground and water spigots for cleaning dishes. Lake is beautiful and is empty during the winter. I can imagine it gets busy during the summer, but for winter camping its not a bad spot. Wildlife is extremely active. There are lots of geese, deer, and various other birds. Dont leave food out, they will take it. Geese were noisy at night so heads up if you are a light sleeper. I was able to get cell service. Overall not a bad campground for winter camping

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
