This was my second time camping here at acorn campground and never disappoints. Its so beautiful and serene and my family loves it. I appreciate the bathrooms always being cleaned everyday and rangers securing the grounds. I always get the lake view not just for the convenience but the views at sunset are breathtaking. Cant wait to go back this summer.

Park rangers were super helpful and nice! Camp site was quiet and rules were obeyed. Only gripe was my campground was littered with cigarette butts!

Nice and quiet over New Year's. This is definitely a better place to camp when the temperatures are lower because of the lack of shade. We stayed at site #23 with a 20' camper and a short walk down to the water. Unfortunately, the previous occupants left garbage in the fire pit and some trash (and a knife) around the campsite. Be advised there's no camp host in winter and no ranger to be seen. Sites weren't even marked with proof of reservation. Half the campground was closed down for the season and very few campers around. Water spigots worked though. For winter camping in a camper on short notice this was great, but this campground would not be worth it in the heavy traffic/high temp summer months. Campsites are pretty close together with most having zero privacy barrier.

We had a great visit and really enjoyed the site we picked (23). The Ranger who checked us in were very nice! We were there mid week, so it was nice not to deal with too big of a crowd. We loved that we could anchor our skis right at camp. The only thing we did not like is the what appeared to be homeless people who were in and out each day using empty sites and although we cant say 100%, they were using drugs in their vehicles. A little unsettling.
