We were in site 141 a Handicap spot. This site is great and very large and flat. The bathroom is a pretty good walk from the ADA site. There is a cement ramp down to the bathroom, but it doesn't connect to the cement around the bathroom. There's about 20ish feet of dirt between the end of the ramp and the cement around the bathroom. Most people just scale the steep hill down to the bathroom if they don't need to use the ramp. We really enjoy this campground for winter camping, but would pick a site with better access to a bathroom. It's a very well run and vary clean campground.

The camp site was gorgeous, we had so much fun there! We were at Big Oak Sites 097 and 098. The weather was perfect, not too hot during the day and not too cold at night. Good distance between us and the next camp site. The showers were amazing, clean, smell-free and well lit bathrooms. The water can get very hot so make sure to regulate it well, but it was awesome! The campsite is about 30 min away from Mercer Caverns and 15 min away from Moaning Caverns and Natural Bridges Trailhead (swim cave) so definitely check those out! Its beautiful!

Perfect area, could have gotten a better location at this time of year if I had driven through the campsite and reserved a better view location.

Beautiful scenery and very quiet place. Lot of space between the sites. Clean toilets. We enjoyed our visit and actually stayed an extra day!

Large campsites. Level, paved spots for Rv or trailer. Many spots have view of the wayer without having to view your neighbor. Nice rangers and clean bathrooms.

spacious campsites, quite and clean bathrooms. Downside is only 1 shower stall and no water spigot in the campsite we chose, its in campsite across.

Id like to go back when everything is green. Campsites are not too close together. There are some that are a bit more secluded. I like the free showers and flushed toilets. $30 a nite is a decent price. Based on my visit there wasnt any disturbance or loud noise and music after dark which is nice . People go out there to relax and get away from the city. The restrooms are kept cleaned . Thanks to the staff for keeping the place clean. I did see rangers driving around making the rounds not to intimidate anyone but to make sure everyone is following the rules and I do appreciate that .

Lots of campsites with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding foothills. Camps are clean and well maintained.

Great views and amenities. Some of the spaces have very limited flat space for tents so larger groups should chose their campsite location with care. The rangers were very attentive.

Great campground (Big Oak) with pretty good access to the lake for fishing. Well maintained and clean bathrooms!

It's a lovely campground. The size of the sites is generous, though mostly not flat.

I visited during a low usage time of year and was the only camper in the park for a couple of days so I don't know how it would be during busy crowded times. The park was well kept and the bathrooms were clean. My reservation materials were clamped to the site post and the site was prepared and clean. It was a quiet and peaceful visit. Cell service was great for ATT. Water spigots are convenient. Be advised that there is very little shade and during hot days one needs to provide shade or run AC in your RV. Conversely, ground near the paved driveways and in the picnic table areas is dirt and would be muddy in case of a heavy storm shower. Dump station was closed.

I stayed there on a sat night and a sunday night and both were enjoyable. Fun things to do and water all around. Just walk around or hang out on the water.

Nice campground for a stop on my way to San Francisco, too bad the level of the lake was so low, would have gone for a swim otherwise... No hot shower though. The spots are well spaced, beautiful sunset. Also amazing for birdwatching, bring your binoculars!

The reservation process was spot on. The views are great, and there's partial shade and plentiful water spigots. The restrooms and shower house are poorly maintained. Litter is common. Noise from campers extended way into quiet hours.

We took day hikes both in Glory Hole and Tuttletown and of coursed our favorite ranch dressing pizza in the St Charles Saloon located in Columbia state Park. We also visited Murphys to cool down by the stream in the town park and enjoyed a beer at the Irish Pub ion the Main Street.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
