I love the large private sites at Mt. Pisgah campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So great that trails connected with the campground and you could walk to the store and Lodge. I didnt like that there was no parking at the dumpsters and they were located on a steep hill. This was my second visit and I definitely will be back.

It was the last nite of the season for the campground and i wanted together in one more use elf my new trailer for the year. It was the third trip this year to the Pisgah Mountain park and I enjoyed it as much as the 1st time. The area was in good shape. The staff at the gate was as courthouse as ever before. .

Quiet and family-friendly campground. The camp store, gift shop, and snack shop are all within walking distance. You have access to multiple hiking trails from the campsite. Easy to reserve a site through recreation.gov, but do it well in advance of the date you plan to camp. Camp in October. You will enjoy seeing the peak leaf season and sitting around a campfire on a cold night.

Strongly advise you avoid this campground with any medium to large rig unless you have firsthand knowledge of your chosen site. We have been to multiple National Forest campgrounds, and while many are older and not necessarily designed with today's modern RVs in mind, we have always been to make it work. Until Mount Pisgah. We travel in a 30ft travel trailer and booked Site A31 - described as 33 feet long. I always look at the site photos and this one looked relatively level. However, upon arrival we discovered that while the site was indeed long enough, it was anything but level. We would have had to raise one side of the RV 9 inches to achieve level! We are always prepared with blocks and ramps, but not for that kind of angle. The very helpful Ranger suggested other open sites, but they were even worse. In the end we left, forfeiting our fees. This campground is more suitable for tent campers and small trailers. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Great "home base" for exploring this section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Great hiking all around the campground and plenty to do down in Brevard if you come off the parkway.

Small sites very close to each other. Shower handle was broken .

This is a well used campground. It's always filled with campers, but is well kept and is clean and organized. The toilet houses are a bit scraggy, but the bathhouse is much more modern and well taken care of. The location it's phenomenal.

Sites are mostly pull through with easy access.

The campground was great. Site D2 was nice enough (1) not much sun in late October and (2) a treacherous set of stairs down to the the campsite with no handrail (3) longer walks to the toilets in the middle of the night than most other sites; however closer to the showers than most D-loop sites (4) no dedicated cut-through to the inner walkway (5) perceived privacy was pretty good only because no one was at the campsite next door, which was quite close and not significantly shielded by vegetation. No particular privacy from the main road. Lots of signs saying where not to wash dishes - no signs saying where it would be okay to wash dishes.

Weve camped here many times and its one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are well-spaced and have picnic tables and fire rings. Its quiet and cooler. There are some nice walks right from the campground and there is a shop and restaurant across the road.

The campground was well-kept and the restrooms were clean enough. I did think it was weird that they were called "comfort stations" instead of restrooms--that signage confused me at first about where the restrooms were, and the restrooms were very normal--no extra comfort haha! The campsite was good, standard amenities. I liked that we had the area mostly to ourselves (it was a Sunday-Tuesday trip), and we never heard other campers. Part of that was because it was also extremely windy our first night. Like raging winds, could barely sleep windy. Because of that, I probably wouldn't come back to this campground--definitely not in late fall because it was also freezing--but that's not the campground's fault, just an aspect of the location. Unfortunately, we miscalculated and the leafs were just past peak when we were there, but I'm sure it would have been very pretty if we had hit the peak color timing.

A very nice, clean, well managed campground with friendly campground hosts, and staff. This was our first time camping here. We really loved the privacy afforded by many of the campsites being nicely tucked into surrounding vegetation. Plenty of space in the campsite, yet a great feeling of private isolation. Also a pleasure to have hot water and showers available in some of the restroom buildings. Will definitely visit Mt. Pisgah Campground again.

Mt. Pisgah is our familys favorite campground. The campsite is so beautiful and the bathrooms are clean. We wrapped up our camping by driving around to pick sites for our next camping night. Wonderful, helpful staff.

We had a great time! The campsite was clean and well-maintained, the campground staff at the entrance and camp store were all friendly, no complaints! The views going up and down the mountain were stunning.

We have a GO camper. All the spaces were concrete with a slight slope which makes it easy. We were in site B26. The Pisgah Inn is right across the road and cell service is best there and better just up the parkway at the picnic area. The parkway has lots of overlooks.

Hot showers and relatively private RV sites. Rangers were helpful and friendly. Stayed with a campervan and a tent for a gorgeous fall weekend. Trails in the area can get pretty crowded that time of year.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
