Quiet location. Small but steep hill from parking space to the picnic table. No designated tent pad.

Always a favorite camping spot. The rangers are friendly and helpful. The hiking and touring options nearby are awesome.

Wonderful facility and staff.

The site was outstanding. The natural beauty was preserved in this campground with small trails maintained to get to comfort stations while maintaining the natural flora. The late summer pollinating flowers were abundant and added to the experience. The campground is clean, natural, and embraces the natural beauty of the area.

The weather at night was terrible, so we couldn't see the Perseid meteor shower, but the campground was virtually empty. It was very pleasant with little noise from children nor big pickup trucks. It's a very sweet campground.

I was impressed with the check-in associate who provided a map with my campsite and valuable campground information highlighted. The campground and Loop C Comfort Station was very clean. Loop C proximity to BRP included road noise. Loop D appears further from BRP and perhaps less road noise. The Campstore proximity across the BRP was stocked well. The loop hike to Graveyard Falls and onto Skinny Dip Falls was a nice walk and workout.

Friendly staff and clean grounds. The only noise I heard during my stay came from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Bears are active in the area so don't feed them or leave ANY food out, or even turn your back on it as I was told. The Pisgah Inn General Store is right across the Parkway in the parking lot of the Mt. Pisgah Inn if you need some last minute, overpriced supplies.

Pros: Mostly quiet, hot showers, heated bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, drinking water pumps, good value. Cons: some campsites are really small, close together, and could use some maintenance. Probably a staffing and budget issue which is understandable. They take bear precautions very seriously which isn't a con, but more of an fyi. Tip: don't camp in the areas closest to the parkway if you can help it. You will hear traffic from the road.

Like this small campground on the mountain next to the Pisgah Inn. There are many hiking options and the view from the Inn is priceless. I was able to text msg from my phone (Verizon) but no social media in the campground (available near the campground check-in shack). No worries, I went up there to detach and chill.

Disappointed the ranger gave us a write up for condiments and garbage bag out when I was actively in the site. I was standing right there in the site when he attached the notice. Not sure why he would not just say something if he thought there was an issue. Also there was a group that talked loudly all night and blared music after midnight Not cool. The group next to us left a day early. No wonder.Good hikes in the area and the area overall is beautiful.

Wonderfully laid out campground. Too bad some don't follow the rules and secure their food and trash. Having showers is a plus and again, too bad people don't follow the rules.

Close to one of my favorite hikes (Graveyard Fields) and of course Pisgah National Forest - the views are amazing along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The site is peaceful, perfect for camping either with a family or solo. The showers/restrooms are clean and everyone is friendly. There's a store near by if you don't want to go into town - though it is definitely more expensive for the convenience. I love camping here and can't wait to come back.

Great camp experience, plus nice and cool.

We camp here a few times a year - very scenic views all along the Blueridge parkway and several great hiking trails within a short driving distance.

Tough ride up mountain, but beautiful lookout at the lodge across the street.

This campground may have been the best I've ever stayed at. Clean sites, amazing views, cozy forests. Nearby are some hiking trails of varying lengths. Anyone who loves being in nature would enjoy this campground. Pack for cold nights, as the temp drops a lot once the sun goes down. I stayed in July and it felt like it dipped in the 50s at night.

The campground is in need of a little TLC: cleaning the bathrooms, trimming the overgrowth would be a great start. Otherwise, this is a magical spot that always makes me smile and reduces my blood pressure when Im there.

This was our third time here. We had a great experience the first two times and the last ine wasn't that great due to no cleaning of the bathrooms.
@SpyrosK5C21F04 · Camped on Jul 3, 2025 at Campsite #A25
The campground was generally very clean and appeared well maintained. Many of the RV sites are short, and the narrow roads lead to blockages as campers try to either park their RVs or prepare to depart.

Clean with great access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails.

They say of 5 rain storms on my ride up to mount pisgah ended with enough of a break to set up camp and go for a lovely walk around the campground. Soon it was raining again and an early night in the tent. Fog prevailed in the morning and made for a slow start. I enjoyed my brief time here nonetheless.

Pisgah campground is always a favorite on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed hiking every day and the campground has continued to be maintained in excellent shape.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
