We tent-camped for one night in early October, 2023. Our site was B21. We had an advanced reservation through recreation.gov. Check-in was easy. (5/5). We arrived after-hours, and were able to find our site easily. The site itself (4/5) was very good. We particularly liked that the site was enclosed by rhododendron bushes; it must be incredible when the flowers are blooming. There was ample room for our Honda Pilot, a picnic table, fire ring, and the pad for our tent. While close to the road, you cant see the tent site from the road. The site is an easy walk to the restroom along the road (NOT a path). Not a 5-star for a few small reasons. The loop with RVs was behind us, and an RV there was running its generator, seemingly for all allowed hours. Also, previous occupants had cut a path to the adjoining site, which led to our neighbors picnic table. As a result, there was a lack of privacy. Location of the Mount Pisgah Campground. (5/5). Its very close to a lot of interesting sites on and off the Parkway. We particularly enjoyed the drive towards to Brevard with multiple easy-access waterfalls. Finally, this campground has hot showers! As we were driving the full Parkway, and tent camping along the way, hot showers were much appreciated! The restrooms were clean. (5/5)The campground felt safe. (5/5).

Very awesome campground. Most sites are private feeling and have decent separation in a beautiful area. Bathhouses seem to be recently renovated and have nice hot showers. Being at elevation was a great escape from the summer heat.

Fantastic camping trip for October. The sites were mostly private and was surprised when we got there how many sites were FCFS. All sites were short, so beware. Staff was great and maintenance was exceptional. The bath and restroom in loop "B" was the nicest, cleanest I had ever seen in a national park. I parked with solar and the spot was fantastic and I won't mention the site because I want it again!

Nice Clean Campground. Site 21 bear box did not feel safe using at night. I think it was closer to the bears than the camper!!

This is a small, antiquated campground. Many of the sites are tight and better suited for pop ups and vans. It appears to be disorganized since there were a number of small pop ups in RV sites. The restaurant at Pisgah Inn across the street did not allow dining for campground residents. Absolutely no cell service at the campground, although there was a good cell signal and wifi across the street 100 yds further down at the Inn. Would not stay here again.

Nice campground. Good launching point to visit the Smokies. There seemed to be a lot of regulars. The park staff knew a fair amount of campers. Never saw so many early morning dog walkers. Lots of vegetation to add privacy.
