We camped three nights in the B-loop with a van camper. The comfort station with the hot showers were clean and useful. One day we walked around the area, the campground, the Pisgah Inn, and got ice cream at the camp store. The second we hiked 5 miles around a loop from the campground to the Buck Springs Lodge site, down the Laurel Mountain trail, across the connector, and up the Pilot Rock trail, back to the Inn and the campground. We don't get to see God's awesome creation in this area very often and are never disappointed.

B was an excellent loop. The person in the golf card was friendly and helpful. The park ranger was also. We were informed about parkway closure at NC151 on the Asheville side, and at Black Balsam Road on the other meaning US276 was the only other exit (we should have looked at the parkway website's page on parkway closures). The restrooms were clean. Other campers were friendly. It only rained one inch on one evening and 0.2 inches the other two. The campsite was clean when we arrived. Check out time was noon and check in was 3pm. I don't understand why campers were coming in before noon and before 3 and setting up a campsite. Unless they were lost, I don't know why 40ft campers were driving around the B loop.

Loop B is great! It has showers! The comfort stations were kept clean. Most of the loop had one bar of AT&T alternating with SOS. We sent and received texts since our iPhones could store data during periods of SOS to finally complete the sending/receiving process. The same was true for email. Some websites got server time-outs, but by waiting and retrying we got information but it was s-l-o-w. Sitting on the rocking chairs in front of the campstore had better reception. If you get close to the Inn buildings, you might be able to use the Inn's wireless.We'll be back!

Great site in B loop. Sites are pretty close but feel private due to layout and dense vegetation. Big fan of the campground.

Excellent campground! Very friendly. Great. Quiet. Tucked into the rhododendrons. A spectacular and special place!

Beautiful campground with mountain laurel, rhododendron, and flame azaleas all blooming at same time. Nice updated bathhouse with excellent shower.
