Love Willow Bay, especially in the fall. We have been coming here for years. Its always a pleasurable experience. If I had to find a fault..what is up with the shower heads?! I understand water conservation and things being eco friendly. Those shower heads are ridiculous. Thank you for keeping things clean and orderly.

This is our third year visiting willow bay and 2nd year in a row at store 96. It's in a beautiful wooded location and is the closest location to the water Spigot. The reservoir is just a short distance from the cabin and easy to see sunrise and sunset in a rush. We camp in the fall and the cabins heat gets quite warm at night. Maybe too warm. I'd rather be too warm than too cold. The camp hosted are great! Very friendly and accommodating.

Hemlock 59 was a great site with a easy slope down to the bayeven though there was no water in it due to the drought!

It's a very nice campground.

Our site (68) was clean and easy to access. Unfortunately, the level of the reservoir had been lowered to the point that there was no water at our site. But this provided a unique view of the land before the dam existed. A big negative was that the sewer dump station was full and there was no one to notify of the situation, a camp host was not available, and the number listed at the check in booth rang in to the booth where we left a message.

One of my favorite campgrounds in the fall. Not busy and great place to see Fall colors. Restrooms well maintained and clean. Most RV sites are level, some are paved.

We have camped here numerous times. A big improvement would be to have water connections at the sites.

The wooded areas around our campsites made the camping feel very nice and separated us from other camp sites. Our group had a wonderful time and enjoyed the campground. Even with the water very low this year we enjoyed walking the dry bottom of the reservoir and looking at all the neat stumps, rocks, etc.

Beautiful area and cabin was very nice. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Less then 100 yds from loading and unloading area to carry items to the cabin site. Then parking at the pit bathroom is about 500 yds walk to the site. Nearest shower house with flush toilets was to far to walk easily but a very short drive with parking available at the restroom. Water in the bay was drawn down preparing for winter, but still very pretty and easily visible from the cabin site. Definitely will be back.

If you are into the open air and nature, this is your place! If you are wondering about the shower house and cabins are clean, YES THEY ARE!!

I've been here twice this year (first time was this year too). First time I stayed at site #93 and 2nd time at #91. Both great sites right on the water. Easy to get too although a little confusing as a first timer trying to find my spot. Hosts are great and friendly. Only issue we ran into both times was skunks but that's not their fault, it is a forest after all. Overall this has become my main spot now and ill be back a few times for next year.

Willow bay was wonderful. Our campsite was spacious and clean. The campsite is easy to get around and there are many amenities like ice, firewood, and kayak rental. It was beautiful to be in walking distance to the lake. I would definitely come here again!

Absolutely beautiful campground on a picturesque bay. By far my favorite place to tent camp
@DanielM5313297 · Camped on Aug 29, 2025 at Campsite #35
Our entire venture at Willow Bay was very enjoyable. There were a few issues which I am glad you asked. There were entirely too many dogs allowed to rove through the camp sites with out leashes.

My senior girlfriends and I got a tenting spot on the waters edge. We kayaked and tented with no electrical no water. We had an incredible time. So much fun, we did it again. The second experience wasn't so fun b3cauce the weather was horrible. The staff at Willow Bay let us upgrade from a tenting spot to a cabin. We had such a fun get away. We were able to stay dry. Turned a everything soaked.. weekend, into a warm dry, with electric and a heater cabin. Nice to know we can upgrade if need be. For sure my seniors and I will be back. Our Eldest being 80 years old, was reliving her girlscout days. Thank, you for such a fun seniors girls get awy. Memories that will stay with us forever. Tammy Mason

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
