We had a wonderful stay. It was great when making a reservation we were able to give our site preferences and a photo was shown.

Selfishly I don't want to share what a beautiful place this is because it is a hidden treasure.

Many nice campsites by the lake. Also, many of them are just grassy spots. My site was down a slope to get to the actual spot. I'd advise showing up when it is light out.. the turn in to the campground is hard to see as it is absolutely dark. Getting into my spot was harder as it was pitch black out. Several neighboring campers help guide me in with flashlights. Rained all night. Getting back up the grassy slope was slippery. Rest rooms were okay.

Campsite was right on the reservoir with a walking path down to the water. Clean and convenient to the flush toilets and showers. Our main problem was that we were woken up on our second night by our dog barking and a 300-400lb black bear in our camp. We were in a tent. I understand that there might be wildlife in the park, but we weren't given any warning as we checked in and the lady at the front gate said that the bear was a "daily problem" recently when we mentioned it on our way out. So, I would prepare for bears if you are in this camp area.
