Our site (68) was clean and easy to access. Unfortunately, the level of the reservoir had been lowered to the point that there was no water at our site. But this provided a unique view of the land before the dam existed. A big negative was that the sewer dump station was full and there was no one to notify of the situation, a camp host was not available, and the number listed at the check in booth rang in to the booth where we left a message.

Willow Bay is one of my favorite campgrounds. I love having direct access to the water from my site. Bathrooms were clean, site was in good condition, very convenient to have firewood right at check in.

It was a beautiful weekend and as usual the campground was clean well maintained. The site was great with a great view of the sunset. We will be back again next spring.

Beautiful campground, very remote. We spent 4 days here in the fall and were looking forward to the waterfront site we reserved. Wish someone would've mentioned they drain the lake starting in September until the spring, instead of waterfront we camped at the edge of a huge mud pit. We still made the best of it & had a relaxing few days. Other than that I would definitely return during another season.

We have never seen the bath house as clean as is was, in these days of COVID-19. That, in a nutshell, is how being able to stay at Willow Bay was so wonderful.

Lovely grounds. Reasonable prices. Accommodating staff. Great location on the Allegheny Reservoir. Close to hiking trails and other recreational opportunities in the Allegheny National Forest.
