Very nice camp ground with awesome views. The camp host was very kind and helpful. We only spent 1 night this time, but we will be back. We had great cell service and was able to even stream movies at night.

Great place to stay!

The park is beautiful but was not well maintained with tall grass all around the campsite. We had planned to stay 2 nights. However, after the first night we were covered up with ants coming into our RV. They were everywhere and no way we could eliminate them. They were all around the campsite so we ended up leaving the first morning and only stayed one night.

Alley Creek is a beautiful place to camp. We always enjoy our weekends when camping at Alley Creek. Although, this last trip, the ant population was overwhelming. We could not even keep them out our camper. Much less out of our food. The camp host the told us we could spray for the ants, but they could not. Impossible!

Great campsite with amazing park host. We initially were booked for site 214. Once we got the trailer hooked up to power, the surge protector kept tripping. Maintenance came by and said it was low voltage and there is nothing they can do about it. The park host quickly found us another open site at 114. It worked out for the better as this site had much more space between campsites. The campground was clean, freshly mowed, quiet and relaxing. Loved our time there.

Make sure to carry lots of ant spray/killer, as they are 'atrocious', invading your vehicles, campers and anything that touches the ground. If you leave your watercraft in the water at the inside-park boat ramp, be warned, you may have buzzards come aboard, even with the fake owls standing guard. The trees/bushes along the camp banks need to be cut and trimmed as they are beginning to block lakeside views of the water. Even with the drawbacks(if you want to call them that) I had a great 2 weeks and will be returning next year.The staff and maintenance team at Alley Creek Campgrounds are courteous and polite and do what they can to make your stay as pleasantly as possible.

Very nice quaint campground. The staff is fantastic! They are very helpful and kind. And went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. Thank you Whitney, Charlie and Ranger Stacy!! I look forward to another stay in the future.

The only negative thing we encountered was a super smelly dumpster that needed to be dumped and fumigated when we got there, that was very close to our campsite. There was also a wasp nest in our electric supply box.

We enjoyed the nice shaded sites on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed watching deer each day. Make sure to take ant killer to make a perimeter around your campsite.

Everything was great except for the animal that got in my boat. It got got the lid off of my catfish bait and flour and had it all over the inside of the boat. I'll know better next time. It liked my bait though. It ate quite a bit.

Unfortunately they moved the dumpsters closer to the camping area. Buzzard crappie everywhere. Otherwise the place is great.

The ants were terrible!!! Grass needed mowing around our site and the next two beside us. Behind our camper it was knee high. I have to say except for the storms that week it was quite, no excess noise and had a great view of the lake.

The park attendants were very attentive. They made sure our stay was very enjoyable. On a negative, my husband had to wee dear our RV area because the grass was over grown & had not been cut for a long time. The rocks around our pad was covered in horrible sticker vines. SAD

Perfect spot. And the camp hosts were fantastic when I had an emergency. I'll definitely be coming back.

Camp sight was clean and well maintained. Tent pads are level and soft. We loved hanging out with family over memorial Day weekend. Only thing I will say is the showers don't have a warm lol it's freezing cold or scolding hot. Which is fine for the adults to figure out but hard to shower little ones in, I do like the bench options in the showers!

it was very nice as usual--the only issue that we had the bathroom was stopped up and ran out of tissue paper but both were corrected in a timely manner

Grass should be cut more often, and the guy at the gate needs to quit being so rude.
@LanceB4627476 · Camped on May 16, 2025 at Campsite #E108
The staff at the gate were very friendly and helpful. We did not have any issues while we were there. The park and showers were well kept and clean.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
