I really like Johnson Creek Camp at Lake o' of the Pines. On a recent trip from Arkansas to the Texas coast (Galveston area) to attend the 6th Annual Girl Camper Camporee at the Margaritaville Resort in Crystal Beach (it was a lot of fun!), I camped at Johnson Creek Camp on the way to and back home for two nights each. I have my favorite camp sites - and this is funny - on my return trip I was driving to my camp site, and someone was occupying it! But then I realized that I had not booked my favorite camp site but the one across the road. Duh! The piney woods of east Texas are beautiful and I hope to return again someday.Concerning the camp. The shower house/bathrooms were typical COE style. Nothing fancy but clean and good enough for this camping girl. The sites were clean and the grass mowed. The best part is with my Lifetime America the Beautiful Pass I get to camp at half price. YAY!That's all.Cheers.Arkansas Kate

Great campground with nice clean bathrooms. Busy boat ramp with several tournaments launching on the same day so be aware parking at the ramp can be challenging.

Site #101 was well maintained and the pad was level. We enjoy the deer that come our morning and evening to feed on the grass. Jefferson, the closest city, has some fun shops and restaurants. Johnson Creek is one of our favorite camping places. The only downside for this particular site was limited cell reception on Verizon.

I would have rated the stay as excelent but the dumpster was right by our site and I asked if they would move it down 50 feet they wouldn't. It was site E111 and there was plenty of room to move the dumpster. other than that we really enjoyed the stayin May and June.

Even though they had problems with trying to get the electricity all hooked up because of some vandals, they got it already in time for the camping to keep going appreciate it

We had a great experience and will be back this summer with the grandchildren. Visited during spring break with the grandchildren. Site E110 R1!overlooked the playground area. Swim area had a nice sandy area to play with covered picnic tables groups of deer wandered through the campsites.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
