We have stayed at this campgrounds several times and have enjoyed it each time. Everyone is so friendly and it is a short drive to explore Jefferson or a day trip to kayak the Caddos. :)

E316 is very shady full concrete slab. Water front allowed us to park our pontoon without having to trim up. Great site. AT&T cell coverage was not great but decent.

Great park and site. I think every site has a gorgeous lake view. Deer everywhere, fun kayaking. Beautiful quiet park!

Website is reasonably easy to use; however, I canNOT cancel a reservation online, although I have tried multiple times over the years.Telephone personnel provides excellent assistance with cancellations and new reservations: Professional and courteous.

Great campground! Clean and great views of water in certain areas. Deer everywhere and great fishing. Only complaint is not enough parking and hard to get big campers in some areas.

Gate attendant was so helpful! Grounds were nice & well kept. RV pads a little tight, but we already knew that. We'll be back.

Campground is very clean and quiet most of the time. We stayed during Christmas and New Years and it got a little noisy a couple of nights but overall a great place to stay. Restrooms and showers need updating but rest of the park is very well kept and rv spots are concrete or asphalt and are level.

We have camped at Johnson Creek many times over the last several years. We enjoy the close proximity to the lake, and the boat ramp. Each camp site that we have stayed in has been clean and level and all the hookups have work just as they are intended. Only once in a wile have the restrooms not been clean and functioning. We often bring several sets of family and their camping trailers when we come the week of Thanksgiving. The arrangement of the camp sites lends to family time and camping close together. We LOVE it.
