They need to cut the grass more children were trying to play ball and grass was too high plus I got 2 ticks walking Thur the high grass. For corp of engineers park I was very disappointed in the maintenance of the park, I know you keep it full but thats not the point. Someone could get really sick from the ticks.

Love this campground and love the campsites! However, the bathhouses need major improvement!! The shower heads are so bad, prison showers must be better than they are! There are drain flies everywhere in the bathhouse and the tile floor is horrible! Please fix!

Love camping on Dale hollow lake. A little disappointed that this parked had been closed for almost 2 years and not one bathroom had been updated. Also, no handicap accessible showers have been added either. The gentleman running the park was super nice and friendly though!

The site we had faced the woods and the picnic table was behind our camper and we had to walk through mud to get to it.

Had a wonderful vacation at Obey River Park The Park Attendants were very courteous and helpful. The weather was great. The only concern was the bathrooms were not cleaned for 2 days but we were told staff who cleaned were of 2 days a week. Would have been nice to have temp staff come in on those days.

Our site, 117, desperately needed to be redone. Crumbling curbs and steep decline to the table & firepit area made it hazardous to walk!

Obey River Park is a very nice campground.
@LyndseyG6059A7 · Camped on Aug 1, 2025 at Campsite #42
Pros: We loved staying close to the lake and right off of the main highway.The camp host was very nice and helpful! I cant think him enough for letting us use his mobile holding tank to dump our gray tank. Cons: The bathroom is outdated but at no fault of the camp host. The tree at site 44 cuts down on the view. The cost of ice cream cones at the marina

Avoid this site . Very small. Better than not camping, but barely.

Obey River is a great campground to visit! We camp there several times a year and enjoy our time and memories made there. Hosts are great and are good to ensure rules are followed. Would love to see the bathhouses renovated/updated though.

This is such a beautiful campground! We have been camping here for 15 years. The camp hosts and staff are so kind and helpful. We appreciate the quiet, clean, and safe camping experience Obey River campground provides for our family. Huge shoutout to Jeff and Lisa Harper who go above and beyond to maintain such a lovely place that we continue to enjoy every season!

Its hard to get a campsite BUT noticed a lot of empty campsites. Something wrong with the reservation system.

Campsite #1 was not as nice as what weve seen in the past with the addition of the new volunteer park person. After it rained, there was lots of mud and dirt on our campsite. This will no longer be one of our favorite sites at Obey River Park. We did try to move to another site but everything was booked and we decided to leave two days early because of this.

Absolutely love this place. Already planning the next camping trip

Park attendant is rude to just about everyone unless you are friends with her. For them to have redone the park it looks no different than it did. The front of our spot was full of drift wood and trash that people had left laying around.

By far my favorite campground. Very nice shaded spot and right at the water.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
