Dale Hollow Damsite Campground in Clay County is located 51 min north of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 550 feet. There are a total of 76 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 75 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 29 and 103 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 74 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $32.00 to $75.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, wifi, playground, boat ramp, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include biking, fishing, hiking trails.

Clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. Densly packed sites, but because they all have power, nobody was running a loud generator and it was quiet.

Bathhouses are outdated and the washer and dryer takes all day to wash and dry one load of clothes needs updated, most of the sites are either in the sun at the morning or afternoon hours.

Nice to see some trees cut. Stumps need to be ground up next to site driveways. Some stumps are on the edge of driveways. Please fix riverside sites for future use.

Dale Hollow is one of my favorite places to camp. It is always clean and very well taken care of. The couple that oversee the campground are very friendly and respectful.

This place is a beautiful campground. The Rv & Tent sites are well spaced and not close to one another. Lots of campsite shade trees. The three tier design also makes it spacious. And the fact that they have so many pull-thru site is incredible! Whom ever laid out this campground was on point and had a vision of how a campground should be! Power boxes were not old and water pressure was just fine. You cant go wrong with this campground and if you like to fish its perfect! Also the big cherry on top was the FREE laundry! Never seen that before and we really needed it after our last campground didnt have any facilities! The shower facilities were very nice and pretty clean the AC was a pleasure! We only use these facilities if they are clean and they were every day.

Air Conditioner in all bath houses. The bath house near the rear of the campground needs an air conditioner.

We had a great time in the Camp ground. The Hosts and Volunteer were very nice and very helpful. We will definitely come back again.

Our campsite flooded. I was very aggravated. The host didn't care. She said hang in there. Mud was all over our concrete patio. Besides the water gathering in the grass and campsite. There needs to be some drainage to help with the water leaving our camp area. This was #12. I will never go back there. It was a big mess. Thank.goodness we have a camper. I suggest to other people realize if it rains be prepared for mess.

My favorite campground. I go Dale Hallow Dam campground 2 to 3 times a year. I would highly recommend this campground.

I changed sites this time. I really like site 9. I have a 30ft. trailer now. Used to have 24Ft. So the pull through was a help. The weather was great. Walked a lot and enjoyed the peace. The only problems we had were the little gnats. I will be bringing some Pine Sole Spray in July.
