Willow Grove Campground in Overton County is located 59 min north of Cookeville, TN with an elevation of 695 feet. There are a total of 81 campsites including 21 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from mid May to the beginning of September. 59 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 9 and 81 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 59 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $22.00 to $46.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, wifi, playground, boat ramp, swimming, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

This campground is beautiful, clean, and located within walking distance of a marina with a well stocked store. Dont understand why AcoE closes the campground after Labor Day weekend. Would be great to leave open until end of October.

Nice older campground that has many shady sites with large trees. Extraordinarily nice camp hosts. Dale Hollow is a very clean lake that is good for boating and has plenty of mud free coves and other places to swim or picnic ... with the added bonus of finding geodes in many of these shoreline locations. A lot of open water around the campground so maybe not as good for kayaking or paddleboarding on weekends when there is more boat traffic. Close (but not too close) to a very well run marina and also a tasty local sandwich shop called The Fork. Only downside for some sites is that one of the bathrooms in a nice section of the campground that has been closed for years.

We come to Willow Grove campground every year. It is always well kept. The camp hosts were wonderful.

Great sites, great hosts. Only complaint I have is, I wish they could fix the swim area perimeter. It seems it has lost its anchor on 1 side and floats in towards shore quite a bit.

Quick little trip. Just the right place. Our second stay at Willow Grove and we loved it. So quiet and relaxing. Just enough space between camping sites to have some privacy. Great view of the lake. Very clean grounds and shower houses.

The campground was great. The employees and volunteers were top notch. They went out of their way to ensure we were safely parked and setup. The only con is the bathhouse was out.

Love the campsite we always get, campsite #13. However, its pretty ridiculous that the bath house, restrooms & showers in that section has been inoperable for two years now. Fellow campers that were in that area had the very same complaint. Conversations were at the point that they and ourselves included, are considering camping at another location next year because of the bathhouse not being usable. How does the Army Corp think campers can enjoy their stay without it.

Beautiful campground. Well maintained. Hosts are wonderful, very cordial and helpful. Would definitely come back. The weather was the best, cool compared to the Florida heat.

The bath houses were clean and the campground was quiet! The hosts could use some sugar in their tea, maybe we just caught them on a bad week.

Excellent campground at Willow Grove. The park management- Ron and Phyllis- are excellent. The bathrooms had some issues. One was closed, one had several flying insects for a the week we were there. In addition, the bathroom hand dryers didnt work, clothes dryer did not work etc. The view and access to Dale Hollow Lake is nice and the hiking trail was good.

Willow Grove never disappoints! The campground is always clean and quiet. The cove is perfect for leaving your boat next to your campsite. Cell service is limited, but that is the best part about camping, right?

Willow Grove camping area is very well maintained and clean. Site 24 is a gravel site and for the most part level. The beach area is mostly gravel/rock and small shells and could probably have just a little more attention paid to the beach area. The hosts are very friendly and frequently made their rounds throughout the area. Will return.
