Dale Hollow Lake is beautiful. We have been camping at Obey River Campground for over 30 years. It's so difficult to get a good site for a 36 foot camper, but we lucked out and reserved a waterfront site this year. It was beautiful!

There were no attendants as we stayed late in the season. We enjoyed a prime site right on the river -- couldn't ask for a better view. We could not join the campground WiFi because we never learned the password. We could see the Guest WiFi on our phones, but could not join. Out fire ring was awkwardly placed right next to the grill which limited how many could see around the fire. There was plenty of driftwood to burn, but if you want regular firewood, you must leave the area to the closest convenience store. Their wood was wet, causing it to smoke intensely. The concrete pad was easy to back in and setup was a piece of cake for our 25' travel trailer. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience. The only negative was the family next to us who had three lively and loud beagles. It was really annoying to listen to beagles bark all day.
