Absolutely beautiful time at Pinecrest Campground! Sites are very nice, great place for families and of course our favorite, the Lake! The hike around the Lake is gorgeous, the fishing awesome and the people you meet enjoyable.

We love this little State Park camping location. The campsites are well maintained and there are many options for play time. You can swim, fish, paddle board, kayak, hike, or rent a boat for the family. If you bring your mt bike you can have great fun on the mountain at Dodge Ridge right next door or if you're into horses you can drive over to the nearby pack station for an affordable day of riding. Forget anything? Need more ice? Well, just walk over to the convenience store. Oh and don't forget the weekend movie nites for the kids! My husband and I always visit during the week and have found the campground to be relatively full but very quiet. 10PM quiet hrs are seriously respected here. Even during the day there have not been loud party people present. Please note that there are flush toilets, but NO SHOWERS here so bring your bucket and a privacy hut to wash the outdoor fun off before climbing into bed. Happy Camping!

We loved our camping experience at Pinecrest! I use to come when I was a kid 50 years ago and it has hardly changed! The camp round was well managed and it was quiet since we were there midweek only. The hike around the lake is very well maintained. We also went paddle boarding on the lake and it was so calm. We will return in the future.

Too many RVs around our campsite running generators day and night and too many super bright lights from other campsites, left 2 days early..

We love it is so beautiful it was our first time at Pinecrest and the nature is so nice the camping area is super clean I loved my camping site was so closed to the restrooms only little problem was there is no showers to shower after swimming in the lake. But definitely we want to come back.

Location was great! A lot of activities for the family. From hiking, fishing, swimming and even a movie at night. Would definitely stay here again!

It's beautiful and just like a well kept campground. The night movies are good with the newest movies. However, there were gun shots for a few minutes in the early morning. It appeared no one was trying to stop it. Safety is the most important for our family, so unfortunately we will not return although Pinecrest had served us for the past decade very well.

The camp sites were not clean. Full of wood debris. A lot of downed trees. Never cleaned out fire ring. Never saw the camp host. No rangers driving thru campground to check on things. Had a great time but sad to see no ground improvements except bathroom floors.

Visit Pinecrest lake is for me one of the best places that I like to visit, specially on my 70 birthday. I am planning to go back during the summer to show to my grandchildren the beauty of this lake.

Campsite and facilities were great but we had neighbors that were up and about until about 3am so that definitely put a dampener on our trip. The campsite was fantastic otherwise.

Its our go-to camp if we want to get connected with nature! We love the campground but there are no shower rooms. Hope they will consider building it in the future! It was a fun adventure camping during the fall. Well come back again.
@BryanM7662998 · Camped on Oct 18, 2024 at Campsite #B22
Nice campground, very close to the lake. There's an outdoor theater with seating than can be a fun experience with the family. One downside to this campground now, they've removed the portable shower facility that was once parked near the general store.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
