Very busy and loud campground even after quiet hours. Bert large groups of younger people drinking, blaring music, swearing well into the night. Physically the campground was great, but the noise kind of ruined it.

Location listed showers were available for a fee. There were no longer showers available. Site is misleading and needs to be updated.

We've been coming here for years and we always have a wonderful time. My only concern is that of the growing popularity of the lake. Visitors line the edge of the lake with their shade stuctures, kayaks, and toys leaving little access to the water while simultaneously using giant floatiing mats that cover huge sections of the lake. I'm talking about these things that are at least 10 feet by 20 feet! Pinecrest Lake does not have a large swimming area to begin with. Little kids don't have much room to play. Thankfully there were some guests that were ok with moving their stuff.

Pretty good overall

Campsite was clean. Was staying here to visit Yosemite but this campground was quite a bit further away than we anticipated. We did not use facilities other than trash service. Our 32 ft motor home and towed barely fit into the site but it was fairly level and we made it work. Site A 023.

Weather perfect! Camped here since before I was born so it is always like going home. We chose these dates in May to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Haven’t been in the A loop fir a very long time so a bit of a challenge to back the 25ft trailer in but managed with patience. Concrete blocks and Mother Nature present a challenge! Always great and friendly staff throughout - even with the changes thru the years - lodge gone, youth center with snow cones gone, gas station to rent bikes gone, vegetable/fruit truck winding thru the campground gone, newspaper boy gone - but the atmosphere, smell of the pine trees and campfires with a hint of morning bacon still there. So thank you for maintaining our second home - we sincerely appreciate all the effort and care!!
