Nice location. No service. Lots of trip hazards. Definitely needs to be closed off.

This is by far my favorite campsite. It was a family destination growing up and getting to come back and enjoy it as an adult is phenomenal. The weather was perfect and the lake water was so clear. Restful. Rejuvenating. Theres nothing like hiking around the lake and ending it with a mountain burger and rootbeer float!

My campsite was the worst I have ever had. It was in the direct sun all day from 11-7 . Also there was a metal water pipe that ran right through the middle and about 3feet was above ground and was the same color as the dirt so before I could cover it with something I tripped right over it. They could at least spray paint it bright orange. Wont discourage me from coming back but definitely will not be getting that spot ever again!

The Dodge Ridge ski resort is attempting to add a lot more activities. Unfortunately they are still in start up mode so there was a lot of confusion on when the shuttle was running, when the chair lift was operating and just what was going on. It looks promising, just not there yet.As always the reservation system is a mess. Very difficult to reserve a site. Then if something comes up at the last minute and you cannot show up on the first day you cannot even cancel that day within 48 hours. A lot of people moving to a different site every night. A lot of sites empty because people could not cancel the sites. One person didn't want to rush in the morning to pack up everything so he just reserved an extra day. He left at 1pm and the site was empty that night. The people at the entrance say that they were told to not even try to rent out sites that they know that people will not be using. Yet I know people would quickly snatch them up. It's all computer driven. Why can't the program handle cancellations.The restrooms are reasonable and cleaned regularly, but it still seems like people are reluctant to spend just a little money on new faucets or door latches.My nephew was complaining about the large number of unleashed dogs running loose in the campground, on the trail around the lake and even on the "No dog" beach. Yet I saw campers written up for silly little items.My family along with other relatives have been going there every year for 23 years, so we love it. But it is not a top notch operation.

Staff at this camp ground is above average. Friendly, and provides answers to all questions!! Camp ground could be a bit cleaner, but realize that its the campers responsibility to keep it clean. Love the movies and boat marina. Just really love this place and so close to home!!!
