Me and my friends stayed at Cherry Valley for four days. The camp manager JJ was very kind and helpful. He was able to help us find different hikes and lakes in the area. There are plenty of bathrooms and water spigots but unfortunately the spigots were down during our stay, fire wood was available for ten bucks. The drive wasnt too bad and the campsite is right next to Cherry Lake, once you get up there service is splotchy. Overall had a great stay and will be returning!

We had sites 39, 40, 41 for myself and my two sons families. What great sites! The 5 grandkids had lots of room to explore, run, just great experience. JJ is a great host, very knowledgeable about the area. Lake was gorgeous and full. Kids played in White Fir creek right there in the campground. Will definitely be back.No mosquitos, bring your own water, friendly campers all around.

Beautiful lake w clear water. Some kind of floating equipments recommended since it gets super deep. Bring plenty of water since the campsite gets hot and often void of water. Overall, a beautiful spot without cell service.

Cherry campground is about an hour away from highway 120. About an hour and 40 minutes from Yosemite's south entrance. Campsite is quiet, clean, full of pines, very shaded and next to Cherry Lake. My family and I had a great time here.

JJ was an excellent host. Beautiful lake. We also took a short drive and hiked to nearby Lake Eleanor - spectacular. Bathrooms cleanest we've seen in a campground ever.

A very quiet place immersed in nature. No mobile phone coverage.

Campground was in excellent condition. Restrooms were well stocked, clean and Oder free. Boat ramp could use more supervision by law enforcement. Several cars looked to be parked there while people hung around nearby (not launching boats.). I would imagine budget cuts are responsible for this.

Camp grounds were clean, spacious, and staff were friendly. Sites were not close together, which was great. Getting in and out was easy. We had a great time.

Cleanest and most well kept campground weve been to! JJ the camp host was very kind and friendly and worked hard to maintain the camp. He tended the bathroom near our site ( and Im sure all the rest) multiple times each day.We will absolutely be returning. Be aware the campground is pretty remote! Pack enough ice, have enough gas, etc! An hour back out to any nearest gas station/supplies!

The camp host J.J. was absolutely amazing. He was so helpful and professional. He also was able to assist me with cutting the lock on the cage at the rear of my trailer as I had lost my key. To my surprise he also had a supply of outboard motor oil that saved the day because I had gas, but forgot to include the oil for my engine.He delivered the firewood we purchased right to our camp sight.The toilet facilities were always clean and free of fly's or other critters.Best camping experience I have had in California!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The restrooms with vault toilets were clean and there was always toilet paper. The site where we stayed was quite spacious and we had plenty of room for two tents. The walk to the lake took about 25 minutes. We would like to come back sometime.

JJ the camp host was nothing but accommodating and an great resource for fishing. We have been coming to Cherry Lake for the last 4 years and with a total of 9 trips this is one of the most amazing places to be.

A very pretty campground. We camped the 1st week of Sept and during the week had the campground almost to ourselves. Cherry Lake Rd is very steep and it is not recommended for trailers. Take the long way around and come up through Tuolumne city!!! No cell service on the road up or at the campground.

JJ (the site manager) and the site itself were great

Site 14 is massive, gets lots of sun. The walk down to the lake is a bit of a hike, we opted to drive to the boat slip.

An extremely underrated campground! Very quiet, super clean, and generous campsite spacing. We took Tuolumne up to Cherry Valley and it was super easy (comparatively to the other routes people mentioned). The nearby lake is quite rocky and was a bit difficult to navigate, but other than that the experience was amazing!

JJ, the ranger for the campground, is awesome. He gave us valuable information of the area and he was very friendly. The campsites were beautiful and the bathrooms were well maintained. The drive there is not for the faint of heart, but it definitely is worth it. JJ is truly living the dream.

This place was awesome. Plenty of tree coverage, a lake to swim, fish, and boat in, and the man overlooking the camp was really helpful. Had a map set up to show us exactly where we needed to go the next morning. Will definitely be going back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
